A/N: Hey, this is Sky and I'm back with another story. This is an original, and is part of the RoyEd oneshot challenge by fullmetal'sgirl92. Hope you enjoy.

Roy stepped carefully into the mess hall kitchen, searching high and low for his favorite chibi. "Fullmetal," he called softly, opening a cupboard and peering inside to see if Edward would have been able to fit inside there.

"I know you're in here somewhere, Edward…if you don't come out right this minute…" the colonel let his threat fade as he sneaked up to a pair of suspiciously empty trashcans that he had seen filled with trash several hours before. Would Edward really hide there…?

"Ha!" He whipped the lid off both and scowled when he realized that they were indeed vacant of the elder Elric. Dammit. He's good.

He straightened and rubbed his chin, thinking…thinking…thinking…where would Ed be at this time of day?

"Oh shrimp boat…" he sang as an idea suddenly hit him. "I'm going to tell everyone about that little incident last night and when I do—"

Something hard hit him in the back of the head and he staggered, catching himself before he fell into the trashcans.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING SO SMALL THAT HE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO FIT IN A PAIR OF A STUPID BASTARD'S PANTS?!?!" (1)

There we go.

"I think that would be you, Edward," he said smoothly, smirking as he turned to find the fuming blond. His favorite death glare that only really worked on those people who didn't know him at all narrowed the boy's eyes, his fists clenched.

"If you breathe one word about that, I will—"

"Love you too, Ed."

A dark blush painted Ed's cheeks and he averted his gaze, embarrassed. "Bastard," he mumbled.

"Now," Roy said, thinking a subject change was in order before he met the boy's automail fist, "why were you hiding from me?"

"Because…" Ed hesitated.

"Because?" Roy prompted.

Ed walked towards him and curled his fingers into his shirt for a brief moment before abruptly yanking him down roughly in order to meet his eyes. "Haven't figured it out yet? You're hiding it from me…"

"I'm afraid I don't follow."

Ed rolled his eyes. "Kiss me, silly bastard. You haven't, not yet."

Roy blinked several times in succession, and then a predatory smirk graced his lips. He leaned down and gently touched his lips to the boy's in a tender embrace.

Ed pulled back and grinned. "Thanks." His face abruptly darkened with a devilish smile.

And before Roy could react, the cold metal of the automail fist slammed into his cheek and threw him back into the counter.

"That's for not kissing me sooner, you jerk!"
