An idea I couldn't stop thinking about. This isn't a Harry Tom slash story. But a bonding story. This is set when Tom is married.

Prologue
Harry and Tom stood on the planet, both watching the sky. Stuff kept on beaming around sighed as he sat down on a stump.

"I guess we're stuck here," he muttered. Tom looked at his best friend, his own thoughts of leaving his wife drifting through his head.

"Ah, come on Harry," he said, slapping the young man on the back. "It's not that bad. Well it is, but it could be worse." He shrugged. "Least we're not alone, right? At least we have each other."

Harry stared at him, clearly flabbergasted.

"How can you be so happy?" He demanded. "So optimistic? You just got married!"

Tom stared at him like Harry had slapped you.

"You think I'm happy?" He snapped. "Happy about leaving my wife like this? Happy about getting this damned disease?"

Harry sighed, instantly regretting his words.

"Look, Tom," he said softly. "I'm sorry all..."

But Tom inturrupted him.

"I'm just trying to make it easier," he continued to rant. "On you. Cause I know how much you want to get home. But Voyager WAS my home. To me. And now it's gone. And so is my family, and you think I'm happy?" He stormed off into the woods leaving Harry still sitting, wondering how the hell they got here.

A few days later.

Chakotay came into the gallery. He stared at Torres who was sitting at the corner, holding a cup of something and staring, litterly, into space. He and Neelix looked at each other.

"How is she?" He asked softly. Neelix sighed.

"Been like that ever since she arrived. I tried to talk to her, but," he shrugged. "It's useless."

Chakotay nodded and walked towards B'Elanna.

"B'Elanna," he said, sliting in a seat in front of her. She stared at him.

"Did I say you could sit there?" She asked softly. He shook her head.

"Look, I know you are going through a difficult time..."

"Difficult time?" She hissed. "Difficult doesn't begin to cover it, Chakotay! My husband and his best friend, who is also one of my best friends, are on a planet alone by themselves! We abandoned them Chakotay! I thought this crew never left anyone like this. I guess I was wrong." She got up to leave but Chakotay stopped her.

"It was our only option!" He snapped "We had no choice!"

"There's always a choice, Chakotay," she snarled. "Is that what you tell yourself to help you sleep at night?"

"I haven't had a decent night sleep since we left them there," he snapped back.

"Oh I feel so sorry for you."

"Look," he sighed. "Not only was it contagious, but the planet was the only medicine that could save them! We've left them enough supplies for at least 5 years. Hopefully by than they'll have collected some more. Plus, it's the closest planet we've seen that actually seems like Earth."

"Wihich will only be more torture for them, especially for Harry," she said, tears in her eyes. "After all, he was the one that wanted to go home the most, remember? And putting him on a planet that so close like ours is almost teasing him...being cruel..."

"We weren't trying to be cruel," he said in an exasperated tone. "We were trying to save them!"

"Yeah?" She stared at him. "Will tell that to my child when he or she has to grow up without a father!"

Chakotay stared at her in shock.

"That's right," she said, nodding slowly. "I just found out the other day. What a nice surprise, huh?" With that she jerked her arm from his touch and fled the gallery, leaving Chakotay staring at nothing in complete shock....

Should I continue?
