What is Right:

I am doing what is right.

I give the hungry, food;

I free the innocent prisoners;

I fight for the weak;

I speak for those without voice;

I help the helpless;

I am doing what is right.

Time passes.

I was poisoned by a friend,

saved only by my sister's love.

She taught me the truth of this world.

You cannot show mercy to the ruthless.

You cannot be kind to the cruel.

You cannot wait for change;

you must fight for it.

You must do what is right.

Armed with knowledge knew,

I go back to the traitors for revenge.

My sister and I

plot the kingdom's demise,

taking lives when needed.

We are doing what is right.

Our plans fail,

the kindom prevails,

still we fight,

for what is right.

My sister dies,

to further our fight.

But I was the one,

who held the knife.

I am doing what is right.

The day of the final battle arrives.

My army's strong,

I think the battle's won,

but I am wrong.

My army's dead,

I search 'round with dread,

and I find him,

lying in a pool of red.

The boy I saved,

all those years ago,

has died,

fighting as a man.

He was doing what is right.

I look again,

at all those dead.

Families that are now broken,

friends who can no longer laugh,

children never to be born.

Is this really what is right?
