"Ritsu! I'm so glad you're back! How was it at the University?" asked Mitsuru.
"It was fine. I'm trying to be confident. They thought my hair and new clothes were nice..." answered Ritsu shyly.
"I bought some jelly buns for a snack. Do you want some?" she asked. She was trying to find a way for Ritsu to start talking.
"OK. How was your day I forgot to ask." said Ritsu.
"It was great! Especially since Shigure quit writing. I feel so happy. Especially with you being with me.
Hey. We should go to the Hot Spring! We could visit your mom!" suggested Mitsuru.
"Well...If you want to..." replied Ritsu rubbing his neck with a sigh.
"Great! Lets start packing! This is great! You've never shown me your mom so I hope this turns out ok." said Mitsuru running up the stairs to pack her things.
He looks a little down...I hope this is ok.... thought Mitsuru as she packed her things as fast she could.
I hope it's OK for us to go. I am trying to be more confident. Maybe she'll be happy for me. I guess it has been a while since I've seen my mom. Then Ritsu smiled and started to call the Hot Spring for reservation.
They parked at the parking lot and walked to the front with their things. Messhou opened the door and smiled at Ritsu and Mitsuru. She quickly grabbed their things and brought them to their room. She then said "Hello. I'm Messhou. Ritsu's mom. Are you Ritsu's friend?"
"Mom. Mitsuru is my....wife...." said Ritsu staring into his mother's shocked eyes.
"You married? You didn't tell me that." said Messhou.
"I didn't think that you would like it. I'm sorry..." said Ritsu.
"No...I'm not mad. I'm happy. You found someone you want to be with. And she helped you. Also did Tohru. I'm glad you found your purpose for being born. Also you got new clothes and a haircut! I'm so proud of you." said Messhou.
Ritsu then ran to her and hugged his mother as tight as he could to show his affection and a reminder of the other thing that has changed. His mother looked at him crying with a smile on her face.
Mitsuru looked at them and smiled. She just figured it has been a while since they last saw each other. She never realized that there was a curse and this was the first time they hugged each other. She didn't want to interfere so she just stood there looking at them till Ritsu turned around and grabbed Mitsuru's hand and pulled her close to him and then give her a gentle kiss. Even though they married, Ritsu never found the courage to give Mitsuru a kiss. She was overwhelmed. She turned a bright pink and stared at Ritsu then she smiled and leaned in to get another. She loved the sensation. It made her feel she was whole. She found out why she had to overcome Shigure and his jokes. It was so she could meet Ritsu and be with him. They both found out their purpose for being born. It was so they could be together.
