Prompt: Castiel Apologizes to Dean
"What do you want? Any more hoops you want me to jump through?!" Dean growled after peering Castiel appear in the middle of his motel room.
He was just packing up to set off on another seal the angels had him protecting. Dean was becoming sick of all this angel business. He was only doing it so they would back off of Sammy, and at this point he just wanted to know if his little brother was okay, wherever he was. He turned around see Castiel standing a foot from his person.
"Dean-" Castiel sighed out.
"No, Cas!" Dean roughly cut him off, "Just leave me alone!" He proceeded to prove his anger by shoving the angel against the motel wall. Castiel's face remained passive with a tint of... sadness? Guilt? Dean was too frustrated to care.
"Dean.." He tried to say once more.
"What!" Dean yelled in his face, gripping Cas' trench coat tighter.
'His stupid trench coat, his stupid tie, his stupid... everything!' Dean thoughts of rage had no point or reason, but it made him feel better.
"I'm sorry Dean, for everything."
Those words untangled the fury coiled in his heart, and, with a quiet sound of air and feathers, Dean was left holding nothing but air. He was scolding himself as his eyes watered up. Dean- "No Chick- Flick moments" -Winchester would never cry over one apology from a holier-than-thou, righteous, hopelessly caring angel.
He wiped his eyes and sat on his bed slumped over, his elbows on his knees.
"I forgive you, Cas"
