On the Road to Friendship

The road to every friendship starts by a chance. Every chance we get is random, and each being a miracle. Each one starts off with a meeting. This meeting can have a number of different effects on those who meet. Afterwards you may never see that person again or you can see them everyday for the rest of your lives. It's a complicated thing, this road. You can get lost on it but are never really lost to begin with. You can travel around in loops and then miraculously find your way back at the beginning when you first started to travel that road. You can travel it numerous times; and each time with a different person, or with more than one. And as you continue down this road you learn more. The time you spend together may be short, or it may seem like forever, but in the end, if you never hear of that person forever more you'll both still be traveling down that road. This road is not something you can just abandon; you're always on it. You meet several different people along the way, but they never truly leave, and, in essence, are always there beside you. When you can't see them, when you can't hear them, they are still there, and always will be there. The road is endless, even after you're mortal existence is up, you still travel down that road, because, as said before, you never leave it. Though the road may not always lead you down a smooth lane it can get better, eventually it will even out, all you have to do is keep traveling. Sometimes you feel like you are just wandering, sometimes it feels you are meandering without a purpose, but you are always where you are supposed to be, as confusing as that is. Sometimes you don't know you are traveling down that road until you look back and see the distance traveled staring you in the face. Some may try to hide, some may try to deny it, but this road is something you can't hide from, and denying will not help anything. Everyone needs a friend, someone in his or her life that will care, someone to talk to. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime thing but the impact will be just as great if it was more than once. Words of friendship, deeds of caring and kindness, sometimes just the silent understanding company, is what makes up part of the experience to travel this road. Everyone will keep traveling down this road. It is something that runs too deep for words; written on paper or spoken aloud, something that always has and always will be there, something that is just too old and too meaningful to describe. But this is the way it is and the only way to acknowledge this is to travel down that road. Whenever you come across a fork in the path, and come across a parting of the ways, do not be afraid, goodbye is not forever, and they are not really saying goodbye in the first place. All that you have taught each other will forever remain with each of you; the time(s) that you've shared will always be something to remember. A friend is a friend, and everyone has a friend traveling on this road that leads to friendship.

What2callmyself?: Wow, where did this come from? (ponders) Hmm...no idea. Could be that I was just depressed from graduating yesterday, worrying about leaving friends behind or something........

Well, whatever. I know this doesn't really have anything in it to be connected with this category, unless you look at it closely. Anyone of the characters could easily have thought along the lines of this, yeah, some may not admit it, but I did say thought. Anyway, I hope you guys liked it, and all. Maybe I'll post more of my weird musings someday (pssh, yeah right, why would someone want to read those?)

But now that you've read it, and you're at the bottom, WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE A REVIEW?! INPUT on the writing would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Ja ne!
