The Ring finally wins

All Sarah wanted to do was reach out and take Chuck's hand, but her body was not obeying her mind's commands, and it stayed at her side.

"Must have been something in the drink", she thought.

Both her and Chuck are knelt in front of, well whoever this is. Long hair, facial disfigurement and a smell that she could not place. This whole day - has it only been a day - was a blur.

She knew that she really could not think straight right now, but she also knew she must get it together, for Chuck at least.

Her stomach was killing her, and finally she mustered up the willpower. She glanced around to her left.

Moran, Awesome, Ellie, Big Mike, Even Jeffster. Behind them: guards in some sort of uniform she did not recognize, each one carrying knives that she knew were not meant for ceremony. Ellie had been crying, and it looked like she had for a while.

On her right, Casey looked like rigor has already set in, and his daughter looking at Morgan with tears in her eyes.

These unknown soldiers got them all.

Chuck is beside her, knelt with her in front of this, well person she supposed. Both of their clothes seem to have mostly ripped off. They were both barely covered actually.

She heard people behind her, but she dared not turn.

She was not sure what the guy they were forced to kneel in front of is even asking anymore. All she remembered was the glint of metal in his hand.

Suddenly she starts seeing the lights dim and she forced herself to take a deep breath to stop from passing out.

Sarah Walker's life is over. There is no escape now.

Chuck turned to her. He looked scared. More than she had ever seen him. He lightly took her hand. It's an effort and his hand is beyond moist.

Chuck looked at the man as he asked something that she had missed. Chuck answered, but I don't understand what he said. Then turned back to me.

His mouth opened, and nothing seemed to be coming out.

He gulped again. He is so cute when he does that.

Suddenly the large man drives a sword in between them and he tied their wrists together with a rough leather strap.

And then he placed something on each of their fingers.

"With these rings, by the power of the Klingon Empire I pronounce you Joined until Death!

"Qapla! Pass the blood wine!" The Klingons around the clapping guests start cheering, as does the rest of the people at Priest-con that just happened to be walking by.

Why Chuck talked her into a Klingon wedding at a con she will never know.

She had to stop agreeing to things when he is doing that thing to her. In their haste they didn't even take time to change, since they practically ripped each other clothing off in the hotel room when they arrived.

She sighed as Chuck came in and kissed her. Her first kiss as Sarah Bartowski.

Just as Jeffster started some sort of noise that they later called Klingon Opera,

Usual Disclaimers apply

This is for Medic Gone Mad. She is no longer working with me and so today as she moves to another province. She threw one last challenge at me. This was it:

The Challenge: The Ring winning something and Klingons. OK I took the ring to mean something else, but honestly I've had enough of that group.

No beta, and therefore crappyier than usual.

Priest-con is from the wonderful story WALKERS ELEVEN by Moonlight Pilot. (Love the last chapter, consider this my review. Thanks for the idea). Used without permission simply because of the very very short time commitment.

When I wake up I will PM and ask. So if I get a no, this will come down. No offense attended.

Please review this and any story you read on this site.

Have fun and thanks for reading.
