It's been eight years since that faithful day when everything in Dannys world went to hell the day he lost his beloved Montana and his daughter and got his son in return he wasn't complaining that he got his son the only thing that he was complaining about was loosing his girls.

Danny was kicked out of the delivery room because of Lindsays pregnancy complications. So ten minutes later the doctor came out.
"Hello Mr. Messer your here for Mrs. Messer right"
"Yes doc please tell me shes okay, please tell me shes okay"
"I can't tell you that"
Doctor says the baby's fine but you'll have to leave

Danny stood there while the news he just heard of his wife of two months and daughter of a couple of hours were dead and all he had left was Luie
"Hey Danny I can take him if you want me to stella and I are going to take Lindsay down any way-Don and Stella named there daughter after Lindsay her full name was Lindsay Lucy Flack- when Danny heard the name he popped from his thoughts thinking that he was going to wake up soon and she would be there, with both there kids running around the bay while Lindsay attempted to help Danny learn how to fish but no it never happen it never came Luie looked just like his Montana her chocolate brown eyes, her dirty blonde hair, her love of the coutry, everything that he did he reminded Danny of Lindsay and make him miss her that much more
"No Don I have to do this, not only for me but for Luie" Danny took Luie in his arms and just held him there for what it seems like an eternity when he finally let go he had tears coming down his face like a water fall he took Luies hand and walked him to the cemetery across the street he moved in to that apartment that way he could look down every night and tell them good night, there grave was right next to rubens so when he went to visit Lindsay and Lucys he would visit Ruben too. And this is where he spent most of his free time him and Luie they stayed there with Lindsay thinking if they were there long enough then god would see how much Danny needed her, but slowly he realized that his Montana was gone for he was still in denial after eight years. Something made him wake up, wake up to the thought that she was gone and so finally this is the day that Danny puts a single sun flower this was Montanas favorite flower so when he does this he realizes that this is his finale goodbye.
