Day 2
Prompt: No filter

Rating: T

Summary: How can Sasuke's perfect morning be ruined by just the absence of a filter?

Disclaimer: Naruto and the other characters are not mine, only the plot is.

Enjoy~

Sasuke Uchiha's morning started off the best he could ever hope for. He woke up on time even though he forgot to set an alarm, he didn't have to wait long to hop in the shower since the water was at the perfect temperature the moment he turned the shower on, he was able to make funny faces in his mirror because of the steam on it(he'll never admit that though), and he was able to easily decide on his outfit for the day. However, that amazing morning Sasuke was having has just ended. All because as he went to get a coffee filter from his cabinet above his coffee pot, he found there were none. Sasuke searched through every cabinet in his kitchen, but he ultimately found no coffee filters. Not one filter.

Which leads to the current moment with Sasuke Uchiha standing in front of his coffee and glaring a hole through it. Wondering why the hell he hasn't switched to a no filter coffee pot yet; one of those 'one cup machines', you know? He bought one for Sakura on her birthday because it can make tea and hot chocolate (since she doesn't like coffee), so why didn't he buy himself one at the same time he was buying hers?

Sasuke starts to scowl as he continues to glare at his coffee pot without a filter to make coffee with; his morning was going so well, and now he has to deal with this. If there is one trait everyone knows about Sasuke Uchiha it is that he is a coffee addict. Sakura even got him a shirt that expresses his addiction. An addiction which he can currently not fulfill all because of some stupid‒currently unavailable‒paper with holes in it.

Realizing how angry he is getting, Sasuke closes his eyes and takes a deep breath to calm himself down. Stepping back to lean back on the counter island behind him, Sasuke sighs and tilts his head to the side contemplating his now horrible morning. Then he lets out an angry 'ugh' as he throws his head back and stares at the ceiling; only to realize he isn't the one at fault for his no coffee filter fiasco.

No, the one at fault for Sasuke's lack of needed caffeine is his girlfriend of two years who has a no filter coffee maker and refuses to live with him.

"She has no choice now." Sasuke mumbles to himself as he thinks of his girlfriend, and how having her finally living with him will benefit him with her herself and no mornings without coffee because of an absence of punctured paper.

Finally a bit more content with his morning again Sasuke stands back up straight and decides he'll just have to get coffee on the way to work. He grimaces at the thought of having to wait in line behind people ordering coffees with no idea what they want. However, it will be quicker to go and get coffee than to go and get filters, come back to his apartment, and then make coffee with enough time to get to work.

Agreeing with himself that going to get coffee somewhere else is the only way he'll fulfill his addiction and get work to on time, Sasuke grabs his keys and wallet before heading to his apartment door. He gives one last look towards his coffee maker before he puts his hand on the door knob and gives it a turn. Only to come face to face with his pink-haired, green-eyed girlfriend with her fist in the air to knock on his door.

"Hi, Sasuke!" Sakura chirps as she lowers her curled up hand and gives him a big smile. Sasuke doesn't return her smile though as he stares her down, contemplating what his next move is going to be.

"Sasuke?" Sakura asks inquisitively as she sees her boyfriend starring her down hard.

"You and your no filter coffee maker are moving in."

"Me and my wh-" Sakura doesn't get to finish as Sasuke grabs her wrists and pulls her into his apartment with lightning speed.

"Sasuke, don't you have to get to work?" Sakura questions as Sasuke continues to pull her deeper into his apartment, and ultimately, hi-their bedroom.

"If I can't fulfill my coffee addiction this morning, I am going to fulfill my Sakura addiction." Sasuke growls out and creating a deep blush on Sakura's cheeks as she is thrown onto his bed.

"B-b-but work-"

"I'm sick with withdrawal; I have to make sure nobody else will catch it by staying here with my no need filter girlfriend." Sasuke whispers against her neck.

"You're no filter wh-" Sakura's words are cut off by a kiss from Sasuke, and soon Sakura is forgetting about Sasuke's strange name for her while he forgets about his lack of caffeine because of, well, you know what.

Sasuke Uchiha has had the worst morning off his life. First off, he woke up late, followed by his shower temperature taking forever to be just right so he waited a long time to hop in, then his mirror wasn't foggy enough to make funny faces on(still denying he does that), and when he went to get dressed, he had to change five times to reach a desirable outfit for the day.

Leading to one very cranky Sasuke stomping out of his room, down the hall, and into the kitchen to find his freshly moved in girlfriend holding a mug of coffee out for him. Turning the worst morning of Sasuke's life into the best morning of Sasuke's life as he grabs the freshly brewed coffee from Sakura and takes a quick sip. Sasuke silently swears to himself that he will never have a filter coffee maker again as he gives Sakura a quick kiss on the lips, which is followed by a parting 'thank you' and 'goodbye' before Sasuke grabs his wallet and keys to make it work on time.

Sakura smiles to herself as the door shuts behind Sasuke, a yawn escaping her lips as she moves to sit on the couch. She had just woken up a few minutes ago to make Sasuke's coffee, so she imagines she could hop back into bed and fall asleep. However, a nagging thought tells her she needs to get rid of the evidence before Sasuke accidentally stumbles across it at some point down the road.

Deciding she wants her plan to have no hitches, even after its completion, Sakura lifts her butt off the couch and heads down the hallway to the guest room. At first glance, the room is just full of Sakura's stuff recently moved from her old apartment. However, as Sakura works her way through the mess and reaches the bed, there is one item(maybe numerous items) which were in this room just before Sakura's stuff invaded it.

Bending down and reaching under the bed, Sakura pulls out what Sasuke had been frantically stressing about the other day: coffee filters. She smiles to herself, proud of her plan working for working. Sasuke had hinted at Sakura moving in before, but he had never actually asked her and admitted he wanted them to live together. Sakura was having none of his half assed hints though; she wanted him to actually admit that he wanted her in his apartment with him. Which is why she formulated the crazy plan she had put into action just days ago. She scoffs at the fact it only took hiding his coffee filters to make him outright ask her to move in.

Standing up straight again, Sakura shakes her head at the thought of her love. She wonders if anyone else realizes how adorable and silly he can be. Sakura concludes Mikoto is probably the only other person who does, and starts making her way back into the apartment living room and to call up Ino at the thought of being one of two people to know the adorkable Sasuke. Ino answers her phone instantly, and at that moment, Sakura smiles as she the only piece of evidence against her will be gone in less than an hour.

I completely see Sasuke being a coffee addict, so I took that idea and just went from there! I hope you enjoyed it!

Happy summer!
