Author Note: Alright I decided to write this storyline as McKono but it won't be posted for another couple of days. I am trying to make these chapters longer than what I have done. Steve and Danny

Steve is planning a special dinner for Kono. They have been dating for about a year now and he wants to marry her. Danny is helping him with the dinner and setting everything up for asking her to marry him.

"I am glad that she is making an honest man out of you." Danny says to his best-friend.

"What is that suppose to mean?" He asks his friend a little hurt by what he said.

"Nothing." Danny says to his friend as he moves out of arm and leg shot. "I was just kidding when I said that."

"Sure you were." Steve responds to him finishing up the last of the touches. He texts Chin to bring Kono to the house.

Chin and Kono

Kono is just getting her clothes ready for their date night. She knows that Steve is planning something but doesn't know what. So she decides to try to get it out of her cousin since she is sure that he knew.

"Hey it's time to go." Chin tells her as she walks into the living room. They walk out the door and get into the car. "Don't even try it."

"Try what?" She asks dumbfounding.

"To get what Steve is planning out of me. It's not going to work." Chin says to his cousin. He pulls into Steve's driveway and gets out to walk her to the front door. As Danny and Steve walks to the front door and smiles at his girlfriend. Danny walks to the car and waits for Chin to come back.

Steve and Kono

Steve takes her out to the backyard and she is surprise on how it's decorate it is. They enjoy the dinner and Steve asks her to dance. He is waiting to ask her until they go down to the beach. It's about an hour later when they finally go down to the beach. He gets down to one knee and pulls out the ring.

"Babe will you marry me?" Steve asks his girlfriend.

"Yes." She responds and slips the ring on her finger and pulls her into a kiss. They celebrate their engagement.
