Mr. Mom (Caleb Danvers one-shot)

"What's wrong Caleb?" Sarah asked.
"Lost my job today", I said.
"That's horrible!" she gasped, "They were stupid to fire you. I'll just go to work with Kate, until you get another job".
I was woken up at 5 A.M. by my screaming 2 year old daughter Kaylen. Sarah had left already. I groaned and got up to tend to the screaming toddler. I was thankful she hadn't woken her 1 year old sister Kyla. Breslyn had left for school already. I picked Kaylen up and decided to wake up the other children, not to mention I had get the younger ones to school, Jacob and Jesse, the twins to elementary school and then little Kaylee (4), to daycare.
"What do you all want for breakfast?" I asked. I heard pancakes, poptarts, cereal, and bacon. I made all those things and fed Kaylen and Kyla baby food. I loaded all the kids in the car. I dropped Jesse and Jacob off at school first and then took Kaylee to the daycare. It took me 20 minutes to leave, because I had no idea what Sarah did to calm Kaylee down.
When I finally got home, I was able to get some peace and quiet. My phone rang and they both woke up. I answered it.
"Hey Caleb", Sarah said, "How was this morning?"
"Extremely hectic", I said.
She laughed.
"Don't laugh at my pain", I told her.
"Kyla and Kaylen are not that bad", she said.
"It is when every little sound wakes them up", I said.
"They should sleep the rest of the day…if you're quiet enough", she said.
"I hate staying and taking care of the babies", I said.
"Welcome to my world Caleb", she said, "I've gotta go. Why don't you see if any of the guys have openings at their workplaces?"
"Thanks", I said hanging up. I called all of the guys and thankfully Tyler's law firm lost one of their best lawyers to a car crash.
"Find a job?" Sarah asked me when she got home.
"Yeah, at Baby Boy's law firm", I said, "I don't know how you do it all".
"I have my ways", she said smirking.
I swear she stole that from Reid.
