Girls have competition for popularity, what is it that makes them want popularity...
For people to praise them? To have lots of friends? We have a sense to want to be popular. We want to be known.
There is two kinds of popularity obviously! One that makes fun of people who are out of their type, and the other is friends with everyone. Some people of course wants to be the nice popularity, but of course you get carried away. Try to be mean, sassy... You never how much popularity will change your life. Trying to be first to do a dare.
But when you come popular there are advantages, if you mess up... It might be the end of being popular. So you have to make excuses to cover up the mess. What you eat can even be an important thing! There are rules to be popular.
You can't be embarrassed by any way, even if it's not your fault. That's the 'mean' popular type rule. Even if you want to be the nice kind of popular you won't be 'popular'. It's probably best if you don't do anything and just be nice, and normal.
Advice. Want advice to deal with popular people? If they make fun of you, try to ignore. Of course you don't want to hear me say that because teachers ALWAYS say that so take MY advice. Say something NICE back, she will be silence and probably walk away. Because you are not doing what she expects you to do. Or you can diss her with a long speech to make her speechless. Diss her in a nice way. But make it long, try to make a point say loud and clear. But also make sure you say it calmly.
