Written as a response to Fragile-Strength's Of Victories and Losses. Hope she likes it! Also, you might not get this if you haven't read hers, so you should go do that first... I had fun writing this. It's been a while, since I wrote anything, and even longer since I uploaded it…

Ginny woke up early the morning of the graduation for the year above her. She didn't know why, but after taking forever to fall asleep, she didn't stay that way long and found herself staring at the top of her four-poster bed restlessly. She got up after a few minutes and took a shower, then headed downstairs to the common room.
When she got there, Neville sat before the fireplace with red-rimmed eyes. He looked up at her expectantly and smiled weakly.
"Neville, are you okay?"
He nodded and sniffed, then stood up and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "Thank you for being my best friend, Ginny. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had a friend at Hogwarts like you."
Ginny slowly put her arms around him. "This isn't the end of our friendship, Nev, just the end of our time at Hogwarts. Don't worry so much."
Neville squeezed tighter. "I'm happy for you, Ginny. I'm glad Harry proposed."
She gave him one last, quick squeeze and pushed back from him. "I wish you could be my maid of honor, Nev." She winked. "We could always just stick you in a dress and have you stand next to me."
He laughed and sniffled, wiping his arm on his sleeve. "I'm not sure about that one, Ginny. Maybe I'll just be the ring bearer."
The two of them laughed for a moment, then headed to the Kitchens to get some breakfast.
I know it's short, but it seems liek this is all that needs to be said here. Anyway, you know the drill. Leave a review, get a taco. Now get to it!
