Alice picked up her phone, looked at the screen, then put it back down and carried on with her homework.
A few minutes later she picked her phone up again and reapeated the same process, once she see's that there is no new message. She frowns and places the phone down once again.
'I'm not going to text him first, make him be first for once!' Alice repeated over and over again in her head.
She glanced at her phone, pausing in her writing, griminced, then continued with working on her homework.
She would look at her phone every other few seconds, slowly getting annoyed.
"He said he would text me after his leson, that was hours ago! Ugh, I should have known he wasn't going to text me. I should be happy that he even talked to me for that long." She grummbled, her iriatation and moodiness acting up.
She glanced at her phone once again and stared, not two minutes later was her pencil resting on the table, and her phone taking its place in her hand.
'Don't text him stupid!' Her mind thought, and she couldn't help but have a part of her urging her to text him, to start a conversation.
'But you always do that! Have him do it now and then! Besides what if it makes him think that your clingy or something!'
Her brain had a good point but another part of her kept saying 'You want to talk to him, so why not give him a little nudge?'
Alice's frown deepened as she made her choice, tossing her phone onto her bed, turning from it and continueing on with her home work. Though she would continuously glance over to where the phone layed, mocking her.
She stood up, grabbed her phone and hid it under her pillow.
'Out of sight, out of mind'
She then continued to grab a pair of head phones and began to listen to music as she carried on with finishing her homework, un aware that she had a new message.
