Santana dropped her bag by the door of her room. She did not have a good day. Between Brittany being mad with her and not winning that the competition, it just sucked. When she fell back on her bed, she noticed something on her window. When she sat up she realized what it was. A gift certificate to Breadsticks was taped to the outside of her window.

She opened the window to get it off and scanned her backyard for the mystery Santa. When she saw no one she looked the paper over. It was the one Mr. Schue had purchased.

So she called the last person she saw with it.

"Yeah?" Quinn answered.

"I though you and Sam used the gift certificate tonight," Santana sat down on her bed again.

"No. He paid," she explained, "Brittany was there alone so I gave it to her."

"Oh okay, bye," Santana hung up before the blonde could reply.

Santana laid back on her bed and smiled. She dialed another, more important blonde Cheerio.

"Hello?"

"Hey Brit," Santana grinned at the gift certificate in her hand.

Brittany's voice grew happier, "Oh, hi!"

"Thank you for my present."

"No problem," Brittany couldn't keep the pride and excitement from her voice, "I knew how much you wanted it."

"Are you hungry?"

"Sorta."

"Wanna go with me to eat?"

"Yeah."

"I'll pick you up in five."

"Okay," Brittany giggled.

"Bye," Santana closed her phone and rolled off her bed to look through her closet from something to wear besides her Cheerio uniform.

At the sight of the two Cheerios walking into the restaurant, the hostess started shaking and a waitress walked right out the front door without taking her uniform off.

Once they were seated, they ordered and the waiter looked surprised that neither one did anything out of the ordinary. Santana just kept her eyes on Brittany with a faint smile and Brittany would occasionally look back and grin.

As they were both quietly eating their pasta, Santana looked down at her food and sighed, "I have to tell you something."

"Hmm?" Brittany looked at her best friend.

Santana spat out, "I told Artie you were using him for his voice."

The blonde paused, "Why would you do that?"

Santana mumbled her answer before taking a sip of her water.

"What?"

"I was jealous."

"Of me? You like Artie?" Brittany looked confused, Santana had never expressed any sort of interest in him and for the most part called him Wheels because she couldn't remember his real name.

"No."

"You were jealous of Artie?

Santana slowly nodded.

"You like me?"

"Of course I do."

Brittany didn't want to push her luck, but she had to know, "You love me?"

Santana didn't hesitate. She nodded immediately.

The blonde beamed and looked around before quietly adding, "I love you too."

Santana's smile grew so much, Brittany was sure she'd never seen her smile that big since elementary school.

"So…" Brittany trailed off, "What are we now?"

Santana put her fork down and pulled her wallet out of her purse.

"What are you doing?" Brittany furrowed her eyebrows.

"Paying for dinner," Santana placed the gift certificate in her purse, "A good date always pays on the first date."
