A/N: So since I've gotten slightly better at writing since starting this series, I've decided to rewrite the first few chapters of the Timescape Adventures. Here it is!

Vwoorp. Vwoorp. The TARDIS touched down once again. The Doctor stepped out and breathed in the air of a brand new planet. He scanned the area around him. Countryside. Lots of it. Houses and fields of crops dotted the hillsides. He smelled... 21st century. Earth. Right planet, at least... He thought. But something seemed... off. He searched and found a large house on his left.

"Ah!" He exclaimed in his regular 'there-it-is-right-in-front-of-me' way. The British accent didn't help his case. He strode over to the home and read the sign out front.'Rockbell Automail'. He hopped up the steps and rapped his knuckles on the front door.

Granny Pinako was working hastily on a new auto mail design, furiously scribbling on a notepad. "Maybe if I conjoin the auto-circuit to the-" Her concentration was interrupted by the tapping on the door. She reluctantly left her workspace and shuffled for the door. For a short, elderly woman, she could move when she needed to. She answered the door to find a man with spiked-up brown hair and a brown pinstripe suit draped in a light brown trench coat. "Hello, Rockbell residence. Buisness occasion?"

The Doctor looked down to find the short, elderly woman. " 'allo!" He exclaimed, holding up his psychic paper. "John Smith, automail inspector."

"From Central?" Pinako asked, straightening herself up.

"Yes, yes, from central. May I come in?" He stepped inside without warning.

"Of course." She replied, almost abashed by the surprise. The Doctor scanned the inside of the home. Simple furniture, decent living space, granted it was littered with automail parts. "I'm Pinako Rockbell." Granny Pinako said. "Excuse the mess. We didn't really expect your arrival."

"Oh, it's fine. It's better when it's a surprise." The Doctor said, picking through the scattered parts and scrawled notes. "You said 'we', correct?"

"Yes. It's me and my granddaughter, Winry." She replied. "WINRY! We have company!" Pinako yelled upstairs.

"I'm coming!" A feminine voice yelled back. Thumping of feet came the next room. A young, attractive blond haired girl, about the age of sixteen, came through the door. Her face and baggy jumpsuit were dotted with grease from automail. Her jumpsuit was pulled down to her waist, showing the black tube-top underneath. Rather revealing. The Doctor thought. Must not get many visitors.

"Who's this?" Winry asked.

"John Smith, automail inspector from Central." The Doctor said.

"Oh." She said, wiping off her face. "Didn't know we were due for an inspection."

"Oh, It's nothing serious." The Doctor browsed through the photo's on the walls and table. People, memories, and two young boys with their mother. "Yeah... Ev'rything check's out here." He said.

"That's a relief." Winry let out a sigh and slumped into a chair.

"One question though..."

"Yes?"

"Where is here?"
