TALES OF THE GRAVES
Half a century passed since Grindelwald's demise. For half a century, Rowan and Percival Graves had lived in peace in their New York residence as deeply honoured, elderly members of Wizarding society. But when in 1995, rumours of Voldemort's return start to spread, Rowan and Percival are compelled to revisit Britain, and strengthen some long-attenuated family bonds with the help of their grandson, Titus...

This story takes place nearly 70 years after the happenings of my other story, Relic Hunters. The three main characters are members of the Graves family: Percival (yes, that Percival Graves, the original one), her wife Rowan (my main character from Relic Hunters) and their grandson, Titus.
The story is also connected to my friend, Laerthel's Cat among the Pidgeons fanfic since we have a common HP universe :) Actually Laerthel inspired me to write this story. Rowan and Percival are great aunt and uncle of Laer's OC Lucy Dawlish. Some chapters of this story reflect to the happenings of CatP, and some chapters tell some situations you can read in CatP but written in the point of view of Rowan, Percival or Titus. You can read CatP and the previous stories on Laerthel's profile. I can highly recommend it! :)

About Relic Hunters:
It's the story of a really talented witch and wizard, Rowan and Reynard who are members of the ancient and pure blood Corbitt family. The twins work at the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office but secretly they are relic hunters, collecting magical artefacts which were lost during WWI or are believed to be non-existed, mythological objects. Beside this, Rowan is trying to hide her dark past: for a few years she was the follower of Gellert Grindelwald (before he started doing terrible things).
The story contains 5 books. The first tells how Rowan and Percival Graves (the original of course) met when the Corbitt twins travelled to New York in 1925 (a year before Fantastic Beasts 1) to find a magical artefact, and got involved to all of those happenings which lead to the events of Fantastic Beasts 1 (so it's some kind of a pre-story)… The other four books tell the Corbitt twins's role in finding the real Percival Graves after Grindelwald takes his identity. This makes Rowan to get involved to the fight against Grindelwald, led by her former Hogwarts teacher, Albus Dumbledore. Rowan becomes Dumbledore's agent, working for him alongside her friends and her future husband, Percival.
Unfortunately this story is written in Hungarian, my native language. I can't tell you all about it but the facts which are important for Tales of the Graves were said above. The story is not focused on Newt Scamander and the other main characters of Fantastic Beasts, it tells an other side of the early state of fighting against Grindelwald with other characters. Although Rowan and the others took their part in working against Grindelwald until the dark wizard's defeat in 1945, Relic Hunters focuses on the first few years of this fight (1925-1931). There are a few difference from canon but the most important of these is the fate of Percival (we still don't know what happened with the original one in the canon story - in Relic Hunters his future is clear I think).

Some other things to know about Tales of the Graves:
- The chapters are in chronological order so it can happen that I write a chapter which takes place earlier than some of the still published ones, making me to change the line of chapters.
- There will be a few differences from canon; I'll always make a note about those if they come up. A few things are altered by me or by Laerthel but we're trying our best to respect the original story.
- Unfortunately this is not the story where the Marauders, Draco Malfoy or other popular characters appear. This is some kind of a background story for the main evets of the last three HP books with mostly own characters and minor happenings.
- About ages: Percival is around Dumbledore's age, Rowan is around 90 in this story. Well, wizards and witches live longer than average people anyway.

I wish I was better expressing myself in English - I could share all those writings and background informations I made for this story, this 'canon-reverent' universe. I hope they'll still be enjoyable though… thank you for reading this!
