As Rose's generation had entered Hogwarts someone managed to convince Professor McGonnagoll that it would be a good idea to allow electronics at Hogwarts. Since this was the case, it was not unusual for Rose to be found on a Friday night in her dorm, doing homework, while listening to her iPod. No one, not even her boyfriend, was allowed to interrupt her. Yet they did it anyway.

It was another typical Friday night when her roommate, and best friend, Alice Longbottom burst in. She hurried over to Rose's bed and plopped down. She promptly pulled the headphone from Rose's ear and made a sound of disgust. Playing from the the speakers was "Welcome to New York" by Taylor Swift.

Walking through a crowd, the village is aglow

"Why do you listen to this It's so, so...Muggle-ish!" exclaimed Alice.

Rose laughed. "I thought you said you like Muggle music."

"I like some of it like Bruno Mars, Jason Derulo, and Nick Jonas. It doesn't hurt that Nick Jonas is hot though. Hey speaking of Jason Derulo come with me and leave that here."

"Why?" asked Rose, clearly confused.

" 'Cause your man wants to embarrass himself or something. "

Rose reluctantly threw her iPod onto the bed and followed Alice down the stairs, into the Ravenclaw Common Room. At the foot of the stairs was her boyfriend, Scorpius Malfoy. She went to stand by him.

" Will you please explain why Alice is acting like she fell and hit her head, a few times? " she demanded.

I will in a minute. Will you take a walk with me ?" He murmured .

Rose nodded in assent. They left the Common Room and they wandered until they reach a spot they had started frequenting in their Sixth Year. They went to the Astronomy Tower.

Scorp," Rose turned to him " will you tell me what this is all about, now?"

"Well Rosie, I've finally entered the digital age.' He said and pulled out an iPod.

"Merlin's baggy pants!" exclaimed Rose. "I never thought I would see the day!"

Scorpius unraveled the headphones and handed one of the set to her. The song that came on was one of her favorites, 'Marry Me ' by Jason Derulo. Rose Rose happily closed her eyes and hummed along with the song. She suddenly heard Scorpius clear his throat. She opened her eyes and took the headphone out, to find Scorpius on one knee before her. Rose immediatly understood.

"Rosie? " asked a clearly nervous Scorpius. "Will you marry me? "

A look of joy passed onto Rose's face. "Absolutely! "

She pulled Scorpius up and into a deep kiss. She suddenly pulled back with a mishievous look on her face.

"I'll marry you, but only if the iPod comes with you." She said jokingly, suddenly grinning.
