It's KaiRay! A 100-word drabble for everyone who agrees that I've been neglecting my favourite ship.
Ray watched. It was an old habit, but one impossible to break. Who would have thought that if he titled his head just so and looked in the mirror the light would bounce off two other mirrors and he'd be able to see Kai in the next room?
Ray laughed as he saw Kai tug his (greying!) hair impatiently then gasped even more loudly as he saw a number of strands come loose. Kai's eyes moved to a new point in the mirror and Ray realised with horror that the mirror trick was two-way. Too late, he looked away.
"Ray!"
Are they together? Who knows? It fits anywhere. Most fun.
