Summary: Alice reflects on how much she loves her daughter.
"A Mirror Image"
Twenty-two-year-old Alicen Sierra Kimberly Miller smiled as she gazed down at her six month-old daughter, Katelyn Elisabeth. She had adopted her five months before, but to Alice, it felt like Katelyn or Kate as she called her affectionately had always been with her.
As Alice gazed at her daughter, she smiled. Kate had the same shade of blond hair. As for her eyes, they were a sparkling ocean blue. A far cry from her own bluish emerald ones. But despite this, she loved her all the more. Or maybe it was because of this. After all, Wonderland was as different as you could get and Alice couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
It was because of Wonderland's differences that made it so appealing to her as her home.
Setting Katelyn down, she kissed her cheek and told her she loved her.
As Alice went to leave the room, Dinah peeked her in.
"Watch her for me. Thanks." With that, Alice pet Dinah behind the ears before leaving the room.
Settling herself in her room, which was straight across from her daughter's, she smiled. She couldn't wait to get the next day started and spend it with her baby girl.
She knew if anything, the day would be full of unexpected surprises. And she wouldn't have it any other way.
