I know it's been awhile for me to be posting a new story and not updating my current ones but I have A-levels going on and I did this in my bit of spare time. I came up with this after watching Shippuden 161 and then Star Trek Voyager, whilst they don't seem like a good combo they are :)
Basically this is a snippet and the title gives away the idea but yeah, I'll let you draw your own ideas about what is happening. A bit of feedback would be nice and if required I'll write a bit more to help you decide on it.
Oh and I hope to be updating Kaguya Naruto within the next week or two for all those who are baying for my blood, Ja ne.
"Naruto, I want you to sign the Toad contract!" Jiraiya exclaimed loudly, a thumbs up that would have made it look good if he didn't have such a stupid grin on his wrinkly face,
"Huh? Toads? No way, there are funny looking and tiny!" The boy shouted back at him causing Jiraiya to sweat drop, This kid obviously hasn't looked in the mirror in the last few years,
"The toads are some of the most powerful summons that we ninja know of brat, don't be so disrespectful!"
"Bah, no ninja I know of would use toads to fight, don't you have a tiger summon or a dragon summon? That'd be so cool!" He wondered happily imagining him with a huge orange dragon below him,
"So you think the Yondaime Hokage was stupid huh? Well I suppose I could let that Sasuke kid sign the toad contract, he's taller at least, and brighter and stronger," he winced when he felt a sharp pain in his foot and glared at the blonde before him, Oh I'm gonna kill him, I just know it,
"Why the hell didn't you say the Yondaime signed it! Give it to me!" He screamed straight into Jiraiya's ear.
Grumbling angrily at the now smirking older man he rubbed his face, stupid idiot threw it at him and it was huge! It was almost as tall as him! Laying it on the ground he rolled it out and looked at the last few names and saw Jiraiya's and then the Yondaime's beside it, or at least he thought it was. His writing was horrible, he could barely read it!
"Now Naruto you have to sign this with your blood so that the toads can create the link to you and can be summoned by you," he watched as the boy bit his thumb and began to rather clumsily write down his name, when the boy pulled back Jiraiya sweat dropped again. The boy wrote as badly as his father!
"Okay, now that you've done that I want to you to memorize these seals and then force a whole load of chakra to your right hand as you hit the ground, this will summon a toad." He saw the boy closely watch him and then slowly go through the seals before nodding,
"I'm gonna summon the biggest toad you've ever seen he declared triumphantly!" All he got was a roll of the older man's eyes and a muttered good luck. Glaring at the man he moved his hands through the string of seals and hit the ground as he finished and immediately felt he was getting lighter.
Jiraiya's head shot straight over to his new student and his eyes watched as the boy hit the ground to begin the summon, he felt the boy's chakra spike oddly and then a surge of more fouler chakra a few seconds afterwards. His eyes widened as the kid started to go pale, and not just him his clothes as well! It was if he was fading away! His hand shot out to grab him but went straight through Naruto's head causing him to gasp. His eyes met the boys as Naruto turned towards him with fearful eyes,
"Ero-sennin?" and he burst, a shower of dust being the only thing left.
"Finally the perfect catalyst, seems now is the time to act," a voice echoed loudly around the large room and the corridors beyond him. If one was to follow it to its source all they would see a huge red eye gazing back.
