Andromeda's POV

I met with Narcissa today. We hadn't seen each other for thirty years—though it seemed a hell of a lot longer. She came over and we sipped some tea. Afterward, she gave me an unthinkable request: to visit Bella's grave with her.

Cissy's excuse was full of sympathy. That was the last thing my stupid psychopath sister deserved. The greatest excuse was abuse from our father.

Well, that was certainly no excuse. Truth is, I was abused too. I just knew how to keep my mouth shut.

Flashback: 28 Years Ago…

Did you strip those sheets like it told you?

Yes

You didn't do the pillow cases!

Sorry father…I didn't know you wanted those.

Then do them!

I'm working on my Arithmancy assignment. Can I do it after?

No! Get your priorities straight sister!

Ok I will, but you should be proud of me for doing my schoolwork so early.

You have the whole damn summer to do that shit!

So you're not proud of me?

Of course not!...you piece of crap.

5 min later…

Maybe next time you should actually take of the sheet your body actually lies on.

I'm sorry; I didn't know I needed to.

My ass you're sorry! You always do a half-ass job! And I told you to take them to the house elves! Now I have to?

I didn't hear that part.

Don't you dare talk back to me! You little…

SLAP!

End Flashback

I ran my hand over the bump on the back of my neck. I had it just as bad as Bellatrix, but I turned out just fine.

My sister had no excuse.
