A perfectly coiffed Chris McLean stood at the edge of a familiar stage, waiting for the cue. It was the opening episode of his first post Total Drama career move, a talk show by the name of Lights, Camera, Trash! It had taken quite a bit of legal work, but his small team of lawyers had given Chris complete control.
What with all the lesser known Total Drama spinoffs appearing on the internet, Chris saw a business opportunity. The other characters, or 'OCs' as they were informally called, sent in applications to be interviewed on the show. Hopefully, it would garner interest and take off. It was Chris's dream to eventually interview each OC, though this probably wouldn't happen.
Suddenly, the signal was given and Chris stepped out into the spotlight. He walked to the edge of the half circle stage and knelt down to give high-fives to his adoring fans, all yearning to touch his hands. He straightened up and gave a wide wave to the audience. "Hello loyal followers of the Total Drama franchise! Chris McLean here, ready to tell you about this amazing new show."
"Have any of you ever seen some of the fan made spinoffs of Total Drama? Pretty rad stuff, if I do say so myself. Well some of the amazing people that appear in these shows don't get enough attention. I know, aw right? So that's why I'm here. I'll be giving the OCs almost free publicity, helping them achieve Gwen or Duncan status, and finding them new work. So tune in soon for the first real episode!"
"In the meantime, all you OCs can sign up on our website, Interview OC dot com. Fill out the questionnaire and we'll get back to you fast. We'll send you a list of the questions that you need to be prepared for, and sooner or later, you'll appear on the show. So send in those applications!" Chris then gave one of his signature waves to the crowd and backed away.
A/N: So you understand the premise now, right? I did a story sort of along these lines a bit ago but it never really worked out. So I'm trying again, with hopefully better results. This story will be a fun way of getting your characters out there, hopefully helping them be accepted to more stories. Also, this is a way for people looking for quality characters to use in their OC story to find some. Every interview I will post a small form saying the author's penname and whether the character is available for 'hire'. I will send over a questionnaire to those who fill out the form and once they reply back with the completed questions I can mold their answers into the story.
