Chapter 1: Phantom Sea Part 1
Amamiya Ren could have sworn he was dreaming. He was sleeping in a tree on what looked like island of trees with bubbles everywhere.
When he looked down from his perch he was surprised to have gone up the height of a skyscraper.
"Where the hell am I?" He spoke under his breath. On further inspection he saw that each tree was marked with a number.
'This is an archipelago of sorts' He thought just as he looked at his clothes. 'Well at least I am not in my uniform.' From what he saw he was wearing his outfit from when he was dealing with his 'death.
From further inspection of his clothes and worldly possessions he had a pistol and knife. Each being his fused magic weapons known as Paradise Lost and Tyrant Pistol. Immediately on closer inspection of the weapons he saw that the gun and knife were no longer models and actually weapons.
'Well at least I am armed' When he tried to take his pistol ammo chamber out it turns out it had been fused together with the gun. 'I hope I don't have to reload and not ran out of ammo.'
He look down and saw path down the tree using branches. Using the basic path down he used knife to dig into the tree and in a few minutes he was at the bottom of the tree.
"I should be tired after that climb even was down." He spoke with energy. He guessed that it had something to do with this world and likely due the Metaverse fusion with the real world.
He jolted realizing what he thought. 'Where is everyone?' He looked around seeing nothing but a building that looked like an Auction House.
'I can worry about that later even if it is wrong I should get my bearings that building is suspicious as hell maybe I should check it out.' He thought shakily.
Finding a spot with no guards he looked into one of the auction house window, which was open from which he spot the most revolting sight since Kamoshida's Castle of Lust.
'A Slave Auction' He thought angrily, 'This even worse than when we saw the slaves in Kamoshida's Palace.'
Looking around he spotted multiple figures that caught his eye among the rich and greedy aristocrats.
A kid about seventeen with a straw hat wearing a blue vest, shorts, and sandals looking as if given the choice he would kill every single one of the aristocrats and looking behind him there was bunch of people who would be consider odd, but to Ren oddly familiar in feeling, trusted friends. This thought hurt Ren but shook it off for now.
The next would be the aristocrats in the front with a bubble on their heads with the same look of waterspout hair and white suits of some kind despite the different genders. Just looking at them reminded him of books of people like a dictator and a child in one body. And it seemed around them the rest of the patrons despite their corrupt selves were both fearful and disgusted by the them.
Another person of interest was a person carrying a long kitana wearing a white hat and had the word Death tattooed on his fingers. The smile reminded him slightly of Takemi and that surprised him. If his instincts were to be trusted he was doctor and his crew was wearing orange. He raised his eyebrow slightly to the bear but he didn't judge considering Morgana.
And the final person wearing goggles and what looked like a fur coat he smiled dangerously. Mentally listing a note not to annoy him directly he continued looking. He was with a man who had a mask blue and white with holes likely his right hand man.
Taking a moment to breath he closing his eyes thought things through. 'Well, I at least know what this is and I can tell Strawhat is going to do something maybe there is something beneath the surface of this.'
This time he opened his third eye, a technique used for finding hidden treasures in plain sight. Multiple cards float over top of people. Strawhat was the Fool, the man behind him holding three swords had the Star, the orange haired girl in the back had the Lovers, the man in a suit was the Emperor, a guying wearing a speedo wore the Hanged Man, the reindeer looking tanuki had the Sun above his hat. Looking around he saw the man with the long kitana with Death, 'A dark sign' he thought coldly. And Goggles had the Devil. 'Well isn't this a interesting room I should wait for…'
And all hell broke loose from what he saw onstage. 'Well, that thought went out the window' A mermaid was brought out and the people were bidding on it and a man clearly disguised ran up and was shot in back.
"What?" Ren muttered in shock at what happened. One of the bubble suit males shot the being in the back. On inspection he looked like a cross between an octopus and man. This felt like is going to be a big event now. Ren pulled out his gun and pointed at the male that shot the hybrid human. But he pulls the trigger because the Strawhat guy was walking forward.
"Strawhat." Said the man with the kitana. "You are not serious." Said the goggled man. And he punch the bubblehead with such ferocity it made even Ren comforted by action though it was likely it had serious reprecussions.
And guards and staff went with fighting the crew of Strawhat.
"It's Showtime." He spoke jumping into the fray. His entrance was a surprise to the guards and they immediately started attacking him.
Pulling out Paradise Lost he cut the many guards around him injuring them and stopping them from attacking him. "Your even weaker than I thought." He spoke as he pull out his pistol and shot the legs of most of guards knocking them out instantly.
And he heard a faint voice that spoke he could not make it out and he continued fighting.
Eventually a few people fell out of the roof the building. A skeleton, a long nosed man holding a slingshot, and a black haired women who also joined in the fray.
"Who are you?" Asked the suited man who on inspection was a blonde with a curly mustache. He responded as he shot, "I am a friend right now just deal with guards first." "I guess questions later." As he kicked a guard into group toppling them, he responded.
And just then a women shouted, "Say goodbye to your mermaid." I spun around and was aiming my gun hoping to knock her out the shot before she killed the mermaid and force pushed through the entire area knocking any guards and staff left unconscious. And behind the stage was an old man with a giant, Ann and Morgana.
"Well if it isn't Dark King Rayleigh." Said the goggles guy. Rayleigh just laughed as if the name was joke and said "Lets get this collar off you." As he walk towards the mermaid and Ren heard it the timer and group who was fighting with him looked in shock and collar upon the mermaid was taken in the instant the bomb went off incredibly.
"Well that something you don't see everyday." Ren spoke a loud with quite a few people looking including the Dark King. "Who you boy, I know Strawhat and his crews name and the Supernovas names but I don't recognize you." I walked towards Ann and Morgana who were smiling happily and said, "I am a trickster who some how has a lot more question than answers." "Those your friends?" The Dark King asked. "Yes and how are you doing you two." "WE WOKE UP IN A CELL YOU MORON!" They shouted me. "Don't blame me, I just woke up in tree an while ago." I said back.
"Hate to break it to you but the Marines are here," A man spoke. "We better are leaving." I hate to say but in the back my mind I agreed. And that scared me more than the fact I woke up in weird world with Pirates, Marines, Corruption, and Talking Animals.
"I guess I will deal with it." Ren spoke confidently. "I don't need someone like you to telling me what to do and don't think you get all the fun." Goggles spoke angrily. "Guess I'll join you two idiots." The man with sword spoke. "Hey, I want to have fun too." Strawhat exclaimed. He was running towards us a we walked out the door.
By the time we were outside we were arguing and we saw the marines and said, "If you want a fight bring it!"
The marines were quivering saying names. Goggles was Eustass "Captain" Kid. Kitana user was Law the Surgeon of Death. And Strawhat was Monkey D. Luffy or Strawhat. And that when my headache came on.
"Are you going to fight again for justice you desire?"
I shook thinking calmly 'Yes.'
Vow to me. I am thou, thou art I...Thou who art willing to perform all sacrilegious acts for thine own justice! Call upon my name, and release thy rage! Show the strength of thy will to ascertain all on thine own, though thou be chained to Hell itself!"
I screamed in pain and force pushed back the marines shocked the Captains the Pirates.
I felt the mask. It felt restraining. I WANT IT OFF.
As everyone watched the Mask appeared on face looking like a white domino mask and saw me rip it off my face and everyone in shock looked as if was Devil himself.
Blood was on my face and I smiled with bloodied face and golden eyes and a fire burned around me. Blue flames that shocked everyone looking towards the Phantom Thief known as Joker.
"I am the pillager of Twilight, Arsene." The Persona spoke and everyone heard it. "I have the power to once again break through your crisis do you accept." I spoke in rich tone, "Give me your power." "Very well." Arsene spoke. "Ravage them Arsene."
A black energy blasted out of the ground destroying the mortars set-up by the marines.
"FIRE!" One of marines shouted.
"Repel." Kid spoke as cannons shot and the mortars reversed their direction likely magnetism.
Law said. "Room." This place a dome around him cutting up a marine's head and then saying "Shambles" Which swapped the head of the marine with the shot, which exploded. And the head spoke, "WHAT."
And Luffy stretched his hands in a net pattern say "Gum Gum Finger Net and Gum Gum Pinwheel." This caught multiple mortar shots and he spun using the momentum. Unfortunately one of the mortar shells escaped the net and was falling towards Kid, Law, and I.
We dodged the attack, which was annoying considering that was near friendly fire. Eustass said, "You truly are insane." Luffy laughed at that remark and the marine soldiers were running up and Luffy dropped the mortars on them sending back behind the rapidly vanishing mortars.
The rest of the group was coming out of the building and everyone made a escape from the marine lines other than that I heard there were 8 other strong pirates here and a Marine Admiral was coming. Personally I could not care about what was happening about the pirates. I just wanted off this Island with my friends considering Ann and Morgana were here and likely the rest of the group.
Turns out after we made it into town Makoto and Haru were in their Thief Costumes and were watching a tall man in yellow and white walk forward. "Marine Admiral." I said. He looked towards me and said, "Are you another Pirate," and he teleported right in front of me, "because if you are, you're going to hurt." A glowing kick was coming towards me and I dodged his attack. "Shit!" I said. Makoto, Haru, Morgana, and Ann looked at me as if was lucky as the devil. "Oohhh, you can dodge my attacks your no ordinary person." The admiral's glowing kick moving again. I blocked attack and I felt no pain. I smiled towards the Marine and said, "I nullify the power of light." Slashing at him with Paradise Lost giving a short line on his suit that was red with blood. "That hurt more than it should have." He said while looking at his cut.
Makoto and Haru came into his vision holding their guns toward the Admiral and firing. Haru's Grenade Launcher made from Bael fired the round, which sent the Admiral flying in pain while Makoto's Revolver maid from Michel missed due to the explosion.
Kizaru had never felt that pain before which annoyed him and he retreated saying, "Your stronger than you look."
Everyone smiled as we met up. Haru and Makoto smacked me on the face saying I was reckless. I said "Later we will take about my habits we have to find the guys." And we ran off into the Grove.
We met up with Straw Hat who were fighting with a large man and likely a bounty hunter that looked like a Sumo Wrestler.
It seems like this battle is tiring both sides and it seems like that the Strawhats were losing. And we found Ryuji and Yusuke helping out Luffy and his two companions. Both of them with their masks and their weapons Ryuji Hanuman made weapon and Yusuke with his kitana made by Yoshitsune.
Both of them having generally tough time with the enemy.
"What are they?" Ryuji said among the problem of the large man shooting at him.
"Their called Pasifistas," the Sumo Wrestler said, "and you are going to be handed to the marines."
All the Persona users said, "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MARINES!"
Which got a small chuck from the Strawhats as they finally put down the Pasifista.
But it got back up. "Execute the pirates and thieves." Holding a ball of light in it hands before another Pasifista teleported right behind him. "Stop PX-5" He said and touched the Pasifista and it disappeared.
We were all shocked including the Sumo Wrestler and the Sumo Wrestler said, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING KUMA."
And then he teleported and Strawhat Swordsman who was weak already had Kuma behind him and he disappeared.
Luffy screamed, "ZORO! Everyone runaway! WE WILL MEET UP LATER!" and then Kuma took out the Skeleton. "BROOK!"
Then there was the names of each crewmember Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Franky, Robin, Ussop.
I heard voice head saying, "EVERYONE GET OUT OF THERE" and Futaba in her costume was wanting us to get away when Kuma made Futaba hidden behind the rumble of the buildings. "WHAT THE!" She said before she vanished.
"FUTABA!" The Persona users shouted shocked. "EVERYONE RUN!" I Shouted not wanting be like Strawhat's crew.
Each one of us separated off but we were picked off. First Ryuji, next Ann, third Yusuke, forth Makoto, and finally Haru.
"NO, NOT AGAIN!" I cried out in despair.
"Where do you want to go?" Kuma said with a monotone voice.
I gave him my most hateful look before it went black.
