A/N: When Aomine looks up Haizaki after the Kaijo-Fukuda Sogo match in the manga he says: "If you're thinking of taking revenge on Kise, give up. I heard what you were up to from Kise on my way here. If you go back quietly, I'll let you go." So when I realized that it was manga-canon that Aomine first looked Kise up after the match before confronting Haizaki I got inspired and wrote this.

come outside model boy
we're not fucking finished
Kise stared at the message displayed on his phone.
It's not that it was unexpected. The fact that Haizaki lost against him probably wounded his pride far more than losing against any of the other Miracles would have done. It came as no surprise that he was out for blood. But that the guy was so far gone that he tried to make him come on his own raised the model's caution. They had been going at each other's throats pretty much since their first meeting in Teiko. Kise knew that the replaced small forward of Teiko could be vicious when it concerned his pride. Especially when damaged.
In all honesty, he had sort of forgotten about the corn rowed bastard until the text. After the Kaijo-Fukuda Sogo match his attention had been divided between his senpai who kept ruffling his hair and patting his back, smiling their victory grins at each other and the three-way promise with Kagami and Kuroko that would finally be fulfilled tomorrow. There had barely been time to see how the opposing team would take their loss.
He didn't have anything to say to him. Any agreeable feelings for the thrill of a worthy opponent and a good game pretty much ceased to exist around the time the filthy scoundrel stepped on his injured foot. Kise even lacked the desire to brag. This outcome was only obvious after all.
Kaijo's ace mulled over the best course of action, casually fiddling with his phone.
Meeting up was out of the question. There was no way he'd take the risk of fucking things up for himself or his team. His main concern however was that meeting up even by accident right now would carry a certain risk knowing Haizaki's bad habits and apparent thirst for revenge. As a matter of fact any interaction between them right now would probably only escalate Haizaki's antagonism.
So the best way to approach the current problem was just to avoid the guy at all costs. Make up some excuse to his senpai so he could use the public exit instead of the private one and meet up at the station or something like that. All he needed to do was mention some hard headed fan who wanted to congratulate him or that there was a friend he wanted to greet before leaving. Surely that would be the most optimal solution.
His phone rang again. Kise was already thinking about the best thing to say to Kasamatsu when he opened the message. His eyes skimmed over the content and they went wide as everything changed.
That. Little. Fucker.
