This poem is probably one of the longest I've ever written. It's certainly in a different style, and I have to admit that this does bare resemblance to other poems. Nonetheless, I tried to make it original and creative. Plus, it's about my favorite beverage… tea!
Note: Especially in the Jedi Apprentice series, tea seems to be a popular beverage... for the Masters in the Temple and stuff. I figured that properly executed I could make something out of that concept.

Yoda says
They were
Hard to come by
When he was Knighted,
But for me,
No longer a Padawan,
With a braid that swings
Like a laser whip
They're free.
The kitchen has a supply
Of tea bags, the
Aroma of arrival
Mission
After mission
Is calming now.
The water's hot
As a bright Sun.
You need
A generous cup of it
For some tea:
Herbal
And therapeutic
Flavor that burns
The mouth with warmth,
Iced tea
That's a running
Race, to cool it
In a glass of ice.
There's zesty muja,
And dark honey,
And we have
A tea set
Stashed away.
When the kettle stops
No one comes running.
Some yawning
Some stretching
The trying time
Of sleeplessness
Some in robes
Wrinkled and worn
From ignorance
And use.
I'm a Knight
Going on Master
And I know the drill
When it comes to
Tea bags
Tucked in a box
Taken and tackled
With a mumble of thanks.
I know the regulars
Of the kitchen.
I know the Jedi
Mace and Adi,
Luminara and Kit,
Jinn and Cin,
All slouching
With dignity
Held in their eyes,
Red from weariness
Or tears long gone.
When they work away,
The work of countless hours
Fades away
And tea runs
To their toes,
Hot soothing strength
That eases everything.
