(*grumble grumble* Here's a disclaimer..Though everyone should KNOW anything of Kenshin, Kaoru, Tomoe, and whoever else do NOT belong to me!)
(But... Sakura's mine!!..Mwaha...and.. any members of the...eh..Enjou-Kitsune Clan..)
A gentle breeze assists the laziness of this summer's day, now was not the time for work... now was the time to rest your mind, body, and soul, and now..was a time to smile.
All three of the men had drifted away from the dojo as of late, Yahiko, Sanosuke, and Kenshin. They had all considered it best, seeing as how Little Miss Kaoru was getting grumpier as the days went by. After rescuing Megumi from the Oniwaban group, it was well believed Kaoru had been impregnated by the leader of that devious group. Alas, as any of them would assist her, that would not be allowed due to the temper and belly she was developing..

Kenshin had been walking down an old dirt road, quietly anticipating the coming of rain, his reversed-blade sword, as always, at his side as he kept up his pace. A light bit of thunder rambled across the skies as the number of dark clouds grew, aa, the unpredictable showers of summer. Kenshin was snapped out of his happy, little, daze by a droplet of cold water striking him on the nose. " Oro..? Aa, it looks like rain, that it does...", he reassured that fact as he looked up at the skies, hurrying to get to any type of shelter he could find, it was never a delightful thing to be soaked in this sort of humidity. As he rushed along through this unfamiliar wooded area, spotting a ruined old temple, he tried to push himself to go faster.."dodging the rain" if you will, his foot slid under an arched tree root, as he pulled up it pulled him back down, resulting in him smacking against the rubble, face first.
He got up, sliding his foot out and sort of, limping a little, under the crumbly roof, taking a seat near the doors, one, off of it's hinges. He let out a sigh of relief, at peace once again, making himself comfortable in his seating position. The rain went into a freefall, heavily pouring itself onto the dry ground, leaving nothing unsoaked, even so, it slithered itself under rocks, plants, and other covered things. With a little bit of a sigh, Kenshin closed his eyes, drifiting into a teeny tiny catnap.
"So, we have an intruder, eh?" , these words were spoken with a whisper through thin lips, as dark green eyes were sent in Kenshin's direction. " So then.. treat him as our..'guest', won't you?", these words slipped from the thin-lipped mouth again, the mouth pulling back into a sinister smile.
((Hah! End crappy chapter one! Read the next...don't read the next... Doesn't matter to me..))
