I, Trill-Chan, will bring you deep into the flaws of popular Quotes.
Each "Flawed Logic" will be short, so it's an easy read.

"Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates, You Never Know What You Are Gonna Get"
(Quote From Forrest Gump, All Right Reserved, blah blah blah)
Go to the store, and get a box of chocolates.
It says RIGHT ON THE BOX what is in it.
Truffles, Milk Chocolate, Rich, With Nuts, etc.
So if life was a box of chocolates, you would know everything that is going to happen to you.
Sure, you allready kind of do.
Like what career you want, who do you want to marry, what do you want as a pay, what will you name your kids, and so on.
The key word here is "want".
In a box of chocolates, you may take a bite of one, and realize it was coconut.
Then you realize you are deathly allergic to Coconut, then you die.
My point is, there is a factor of unknowingness (not a word, I don't think).
You may get worse than you wanted.
Bad pay, pot-head kids, boozing husband, broke, CEO of Enron...
Life is a box of Chocolates, in a way.
Milk Chocolate is when you are a kid, all young, happy and care-free.
Bitter-Sweet is Elementary ages, when life is driving a spike in your soul.
Dark Chocolate is Junior High, when you can't do anything right, and you try to fit in as best as you can.
Truffles are High School, when you are planning out your life, and you are still deciding which road is best.
Hershes's Kisses is your college years, when you can go nutty, or stay the same.
Chocolate Bar's are around age 30, when your life is on the tracks, and perfectly aligned.
Fruit Flavored Chocolate: ages 35-60, When you life has taken a dump on your head, kid's are pushing you to the edge of sanity, and you count down the day's till retirement because of what you have done/
Finally is Rich Chocolate, your kids are out of your life, you have no work, and you can sit back and relax all you want, because you have it all.
I'm almost done.
It should have been phrased:
Life is Like A Red Dwarf Episode, You Never Can Be Sure What's Going to Happen.
Why that wouldn't work though is beacause Red Dwarf (Copywright BBC)wan't around when Forest Gump was made, and Chocolate sounds better.
I replaced "Get" with "Happen" because YOU decide you future, no one else.
How was that, for my first FL???
I will post up my story "Gaia's Thesis, when I finish a chapter, but for now. It is just short stories.
