Frisk gripped Toriel's hands tightly. The darkness enveloped the two as they ventured deeper in. Everything was dimmed down, silent. The monsters had left the underground a month ago, but Frisk's mind was still boggled over the core. Toriel had went with the orphan to make sure she stayed safe in Hotland. Some monsters had somehow not gotten the hint the Underground was over, and were still hunting humans. In the darkness, Frisk rammed into a wall, yelping at the sudden contact. Rubbing her forehead, she looked up. Heart lifting, she looked up to Toriel. "Mom, we finally got here!" Her voice filled up with cheer. Trying the door, she used her strength from dodging attacks and kicked off the door's hinges. With a DETERMINED grin, her and Toriel went inside.
"Oh dear, these elevator puzzles are very hard... C-C, perhaps?" She asked, noticing the button's significance.
Frisk nodded. "I pressed all these buttons in boredom last time I was here." She whacked her hand on the button, and her heart lifted as the elevator sputtered to life, roaring upwards. When the door dinged, the fog surrounded them. "It's still bright here... Let's go!" She darted forward, Toriel closely following. Little did they know the fate awaiting them at their destination.
