I'm not a shy guy, in fact, I'm the total opposite. I talk, I do normal people shit, but to actually fall for a broad? Never. Catalina was a life lesson. I have a healthy way of distrusting people. But there's been this girl on my mind. I'm not the romantic type, and when I see a chick I pass her up. What can I say? I have no time for love in the lifestyle I'm in.

Claude was standing at the bus stop. He was bored. Tonight was a clear one and the streetwalkers were at it tough. Some of these women didn't look half bad, but the drugs threw their whole look off. Just when he went to light a cigarette, his movements paused all together. A girl, couldn't be a day over twenty, was making her way past him. Her full lips were wrapped around a red lollipop that matched her skimpy red top and lipstick. She filled out her outfit perfectly and he couldn't keep his brown hues off her. From where he was standing, he could smell the sweet floral perfume she wore. What the hell is going on? He was genuinely confused about what he was feeling towards this girl he didn't even know! She looked over at him with the greenest eyes and smiled at him.

"Hey?"

"Um, hey."

"Waiting for a friend or are you waiting for the bus?"

"A friend." He answered with a small grin, in which she returned.

"Well, I'm Lola... what's your name?"

"Claude, Claude Speed."

Just at that moment, the damn bus pulled up at the stop. Bad timing, asshole.

"Claude... I like that name. It sounds formal." A beautiful smile curved her lips. His name rolled off her tongue like silk. "I hope to see you again." As Lola boarded the bus, Claude just stood there in shock. He felt something and it wasn't right. He actually wanted to see her again. It was Liberty City and he was sure he'd never see Lola again. Shaking his head, he started walking towards his apartment. One day, he'd probably see her again and he'd be prepared.
