Lily places a hand on her swollen stomach as she listens to Lorcan expertly play the piano. The afternoon is unbearably hot and she can't seem to get comfortable – being eight months pregnant contributes the most, though.
"Lil?" Lorcan breaks the silence that has fallen between them.
"Yes," she replies, moving for the third time in the last two minutes. She glances at Lorcan, whose watching her carefully now.
He meets her brown eyes and smiles, "You know we still haven't come up with name for our little girl."
And suddenly, panic rushes through Lily's body. She's due any day now and the girl still doesn't have a name. With her boys, their names were chosen within days of finding out the sex. But girl names aren't as easy for Lily to choose.
"Oh my, what if she doesn't have a name before she's born?" Lily questions, looking up at Lorcan as if she's wanting him to tell her everything is going to be alright.
"Calm down, love," Lorcan says softly, getting up from his seat at the piano. He takes his place on the couch next to Lily. "She'll have a name before she's born." He kisses her forehead to reassure her.
"What about Aurora?" Lily asks, practically spitting out the first name that comes to her mind.
"No."
"Why not? It's a beautiful name!" Lily demands.
"She'll feel left out. She'll be the only one in our family that doesn't start with an 'L'. I don't want her to feel left out," Lorcan explains softly.
They sit quietly for a few more minutes, unable to think of a name they both could agree on. Lily is on the verge of tears, frustrated that her baby might not have the perfect name before she's born. Roxanne appears out the fireplace a few feet away, "Lily!"
"Merlin, Roxy! You scared me," Lily growls at her a few second later.
Lorcan stands, kissing her on the cheek. "I'll leave you two alone." Lily didn't have time to tell him its fine for him to stay.
Roxanne takes Lorcan's spot and turns to Lily. "So, what's wrong?" Lily looks confused and Roxanne laughs loudly. "Oh, don't give me that look, Lily. Don't play dumb. Something's obliviously wrong because you looked like you were about to cry when I came."
Sighing, Lily explains to her the difficulty of picking a name for her daughter. "I just don't know!" Lily cries out, frustrated.
"I thought you picked out names months ago!"
"No. I couldn't decide on one," Lily sighs. "And now Lorcan doesn't want her to feel left out because of Litton and Loukas both start with 'L's – which makes this ten times harder than it should be!"
Roxanne is silent for a few seconds. "How about Lorelai?"
"Lorelai," Lily repeats a few times, getting the feel of the name on her tongue. "I love it! Now I just have to get Lorcan to agree."
"If he agrees, I claim being Godmother!" Roxanne says with a smile.
Lily rolls her eyes at Roxanne. "Whatever you say, Roxy. Now, help me up!"

Lily finds Lorcan in their backyard, chasing their youngest around the yard. The summer air feels warm against her skin but she doesn't care. Watching her husband play with her boys makes everything better. Litton's blonde hair is swept back as he runs from Lorcan while Loukas' blue eyes shine with amusement.
Lorcan must have known she's watching there because he stops what he's doing and joins her at the doorway. "Lorelai?" she questions softly.
"It's a beautiful name," he says. "I hope Lorelai looks like you since Litton and Loukas look more like me."
And she knows that he's agreed on the name.
