Revenge

Truth be told I fear the worst
Mere death cannot abate my thirst
A thirst I shall no longer deny
Till justice served, eye for an eye

With a shard of glass he cut off my face
Fed it to the dogs at an erie pace
The pain was intense and the lights grew dim
So shall be the fate bestowed upon him

On cold winter nights I've lain awake
My need for revenge a constant ache
Create scenarios both gruesome and naughty
While trapped inside my useless body

Money and power are no help to me
Hannibal Lecter still remains free
Free of justice, free of my wrath
Free to walk a lonely path

It is true, freedom comes with a price
I've seen it happen once or twice
A man I've known for quite some time
Always said that age old line

My life is perfect as it should be
He became careless and rather cocky
Let his guard down, how naive is he
Alas that foolish man was me
