Whom The Gods Love
Hecate, Goddess of Cross-Roads and Magic, watches the many Harry Potters in their final moments.

Harry stands before the Veil, a solemn look on his face.

The Man-Who-Saved-Us-All visits a cemetery, looking at his friends who have left him for the next grand adventure and finally lets himself rest after a century of loneliness.

Harry watches, emotionless, as his friends of over seven years cackle in glee as he is dragged to the middle of the room and is made to kneel before a dementor.
A single tear runs down her face as she turns to The Fates and says, "Let Harry James Potter die the first time Tom Marvolo Riddle attacks him."
And thus, the old saying is proven true yet again.
'Whom the Gods love, die young.'
