BELLA?!
Jasper and Emmett again were lost in another of their complex games of chess. Rosalie hovered in the garage tuning her BMW for the thousandth time. An I was at my wits ends trying to give Bella the privacy and "a life free from us." She deserved; well at least that's what Edward wanted.
Even though Edward was suffering from the separation from Bella, he made me promise I wouldn't pry. After so many months passed, since the accident at my best friend's birthday party, they began to feel like years away from her. This tortured me. I LOVED her too why did I have to leave. Leave her there in Forks unprotected. Yes I knew she had the chief of police, Charlie as her father but how was he supposed to stop a vampire attack or an animal attack?! Little did he know his daughter was a magnet for danger even in a small town like Forks, Washington.
Esme and Carlisle were out hunting. Though they tried to hide the reasons they wanted to go. Mostly my vision was of them hunting caribou but it kept wavering as Esme tried to fight back her feelings to find Edward and comfort him. The reason for the final change I believe was Carlisle informing her that Edward need to be alone now even if it did bring sorrow to his face in admitting it.
"Ah!" A small giggle burst through my lips as Emmett lost to Jasper. Emmett always hated losing anything. Afterwards every ones heads turned toward me. Their expressions were of shock and confusion. My giggle has been absent for awhile and it was a surprise for them to hear it. Just as soon as it happened I had a sudden burst of happiness flow throughout my body. No doubt Jasper's doing. I quickly gave him a smile and peck on the cheek.
The happiness continued until there was an abrupt change I became still and motionless. As what usually happens when I get a vision of the future. This vision was different. Its setting seemed familiar. Forks? Yes that's exactly where it was at, but what was it about? My expression quickly changed as I saw the small, fragile girl I came to love as much as Edward, appear from the trees on a cliff. What! Why is she standing there? It was if she was contemplating something difficult. Then just the same Bella became still as she muttered, "I Love You Edward!" and sucked in a breath as she jumped from the cliff she was once standing on.
Alice? Alice! Alice?! I could feel Jasper shaking me in worry but I was too busy searching furiously in the water waiting for Bella to reappear. I searched and searched but she never came back up. "Someone hit her." Rosalie said as if thinking it would pull me back to them, back from my mental turmoil and it did. Despite my irritation my face was pale, whiter than usual as my voiced crack while I mouthed the words, "Bella's Dead?!"
