A/N This is a music thingy. The words in bold are lyrics from Fall Out Boy's song 'xo' .
I just heard this song yesterday and I thought the lyrics went really well with Leah finding about Sam and Emily.
Leah's thoughts are in normal writing.
Leah's POV
Here I am standing on the edge of a cliff. Ready to jump. No one's going to miss me, especially not Sam or her. I am remembering all the memories of me and Sam.
I combed the crowd and picked you out
My mouth moves too fast for you to figure it out
It starts eyes closed to fingers crossed
Sam and I were at a party. I found him and we shared our first kiss.
To hands between legs, to whatever it takes
To drinks at the club to the bar
To the keys to your car
To hotel stairs to the emergency exit door
We moved to his car, still making out. This night was the night we first had sex. It was the most wonderful night of my life. After we finished, we went to a hotel and kept at it. We accidently set the fire alarm off and we had to escape through the emergency exit.
To the love, I left my conscience pressed
Between the pages of the Bible in the drawer
"What did it ever do for me" I say
It never calls me when I'm down
Love never wanted me
But I took it anyway
Put your ear to the speaker
And choose love or sympathy
But never both
Love never wanted me
Sam never wanted me. He left me for my best friend and cousin, Emily.
"I hoped you choked
And crashed your car"
Hey "tear catcher", that's all that you are
And ever were
From the start
I swear, I say
I swear, I say
I wanted him to die. He betrayed me. She betrayed me. I hoped he died. He deserved it. They both did. I hated myself for even thinking it, but I couldn't help it. It was his fault.
To hands between legs, to whatever it takes
To drinks at the club to the bar
To the keys to your car
To hotel stairs to the emergency exit door
I remember all the fond memories of me and Sam. Especially that first night that started at the bar and ended in the hotel room.
To the love, I left my conscience pressed
Between the pages of the Bible in the drawer
"What did it ever do for me" I say
It never calls me when I'm down
Love never wanted me
But I took it anyway
Put your ear to the speaker
And choose love or sympathy
But never both, no
Love or sympathy, not both. He chose love for Emily and sympathy for me.
To the love I left my conscience pressed
Through the keyhole I watched you dress
Kiss and tell
(Loose lips sink ships)
I went to his house a few hours ago. The door was unlocked so I walked right in. I called out, but got no answer. I heard noises coming from his room. I watched him undress through the keyhole. That's when I saw her.
To the love I left my conscience pressed
Through the keyholes I watched you dress
Kiss and tell
Loose lips sink ships
They were kissing. My Sam and Emily. My boyfriend and my best friend. He was on top of her. They only had their underwear on. I felt so angry and used in that moment.
To the love I left my conscience pressed
Between the pages of the Bible in the drawer
"What did it ever do for me" I say
I ran out of the house screaming and crying. I ran to the cliffs at the beach. I new what I wanted to do. I wasn't a good swimmer, so that would make drowning easier.
I was ready to jump.
A/N: I'm pretty sure this is gonna be a one shot, but I can make it longer if you guys want me to?
The next chapter could have either Seth or Sam come and find her and stop her I think....
Thanks for reading! Review if you want.
