ARTICLE ONE: THE SORTING CEREMONY.
Last night everyone witnessed the Sorting Ceremony, the ceremony that sorts our first year students into the four houses, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.
The Sorting's Hat Song.
"Oh, you might not think I'm pretty.
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me
You can keep your bowlers black,
Your top hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all.
There's nothing hidden in your head
The Sorting Hat can't see,
So try me on and I will tell you
Where you ought to be.
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
There daring, nerve and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are true and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means
To achieve their ends.
So put me on! Don't be afraid!
And don't get in a flap!
You're in safe hands (though I have none)
For I'm a Thinking Cap!

"Boy Who Lived" At Hogwarts.
The boy who caused Voldemort's downfall ten years ago is now at Hogwarts!
He is a small boy with jet-black hair and startling emerald green eyes, but most of all he has the world known lighting-bolt shaped scar on his forehead.
He is in Gryffindor and is normally seen hanging around a tall redheaded kid named Ronald Weasley.
I have only caught a glimpse of him myself, but I wish to see more of him.

Just to inform everyone there was a Gringotts break in on the last day of July.
-Cedric Diggory Hufflepuff 4th year.

Remember that the third floor corridor on the right hand side is out of bounds.
No Magic in the halls between classes.
Please do not go in the forbidden forest.
Dungbombs are now banned.
