Chapter 1

A/N: Okay, so the time-line is set up during the latest episode of Tokyo Ghoul which is episode 7. This series is a short 3-4 chapter novel and will not likely get any further then that. I haven't got the ending in my head yet, but it might be a bad ending which means there's a big chance it's not going to end well (can't stress this enough). KanekixHinami. The characters will try and be canon, based on my ability to keep in character, fingers crossed. This will be my final Authors note, questions or anything of the sort will not be answered, so don't bother asking.

In a lone village out in the middle of nowhere is a man wearing an ebony eye-patch. His slim features and fair looks make it seem like obvious bait to any ghoul lingering about. And while one is following him closely behind without his knowledge, it is not with the intentions of feasting on him. It's not like she could even if she wanted to. Kaneki Ken, a ghoul, the one eyed ghoul who's name roams the underground like the common cold.

He walks steadily, keeping pace to the humans besides him, and acting as normal as possible. He makes quick twists and turns occasionally, but the ghoul follows. It was until he made a sharp turn but focused to keep on track, she didn't realize something was off until it was too late. She makes the turn and is met with a hand shaped like a gun, his pointer finger (the barrel), taps her head lightly.

"Bang." He whispers, a smooth smile spreading his lips. So much suffering, so little time, it's nice having some fun once in a while. The ghoul steps back, cornered, as Kaneki walks to the side, "Look around you…"

The ghoul hesitates before turning her head side to side, the people are gone. He led her to an isolated area without her knowing but there's no time to be surprised. Kaneki holds his hand in the air, three fingers extended while the rest fell, "One," he spoke, one finger fell, "Two," the other followed, "And three," his fist turned into a ball and the center that his 'fake gun' had touched cracked the mask in half, revealing the girls features. Kaneki threw his fist, fast, waiting to dig his knuckles into her flesh but stopped when he saw who it was.

"H-Hinami."

Her hair brown and her eyes another shade darker, her skin looks alive despite being a ghoul. Her hands awkwardly found her back as she fidgeted and squirmed. It's uncomfortable for the both of them. Kaneki pulls his hand to the side and tries to look anywhere but at her. The girl's grown, she's not the same kid he saved from the doves, she's about 17 or 18 now. Her facial features spoke the truth, but her body…

He couldn't stop himself from inspecting her. Hinami covers herself quickly with her hands, shielding away from his prying eyes. Kaneki blushes, scratching his white hair, it's been a long time since he's been with another girl. Deciding over not choosing sides wasn't easy. You had Touka and the Anteiku who didn't want him saving them, accepting their help to help everyone is useless, someone has to get hurt and you had Ayato and Aogiri on the other side. He's used all their usefulness at this point.

He came to a conclusion that helping either group just tips the scale as to who dies. It was a tough understanding but it really is better for him to just stay out. It wasn't his war. Surprisingly enough, both sides agreed and Kaneki made them promise never to fight in the open. This limits a lot, the fights will be smaller and well put which means that there will be less human casualties and the other being that a ghoul doesn't die so easily. Unlike his tussle with 'the boss' there's not a lot of cases of ghouls dying one on one which limits the casualties of ghouls. Best of both worlds.

"Why are you here?" Kaneki asks, "If the Aogiri catches you they'll send a full man assault…"

Hinami tightly holds the sides of her blouse, "I-I made sure I wasn't being followed."

Kaneki grabs her and pulls her to a tight spot. Two cops who patrolled the alleys at times pop into view, flashing their lights at various places. Kaneki held his hand over her mouth, "Sh…" Hinami blushes madly, even Kaneki couldn't help but be flustered. He can feel her body pressing against his, her warmth spreading throughout her clothes and the heated breathing escaping the cracks of his hand. Her smell is mezmerizing, a hint of flowery perfume and a touch of sweat.

When the two cops made their leave, Kaneki felt a little regret letting her go. He never thought he could like someone and want to eat them. The image of purple hair brushes against his brain as he shakes his head madly to get it out. He glances at Hinami, "Y-Your hair…" she touches it, "It's white like snow." Kaneki moved a little back and she realizes how close she was.

You're two different kinds. You might as well give up.

Her recent encounter with her 'friend' made her refuse to let up. She moves closer, gently pushing his hair to the side. Kaneki didn't move. He stood, watching her curiously, "Why did you follow me?"

Hinami stares blankly at the air, "Because I want you."

"I'm not going back…and if you plan on stopping me. I'll eat you." Kaneki warned. He's used to eating humans now, it still feels naturally wrong and he would gag sometimes when he's not in centipede form but he embraced his ghoul side once he decided not to mess with the Anteiku or the Aogiri. He wouldn't eat anybody, usually criminals who deserve death but when someone plays god, it's a good chance he could misinterpret as to who's good or not. For example, a gang leader could be a ruthless criminal but on the other side he only kills when he has to and donates to charity when he can. Another would be a ghoul who goes out and eat live human beings but on the other side he's just a loner who needs to eat to survive.

"I'm not asking you to come back. I want you…" Hinami's face turns bright red as she inches herself closer, smelling the breath that escaped his lips. Kaneki leans back, but could only lean so far as her lips touches his. His face turned bright red, copying Hanabi's but her eyes are determined. When the slimy kiss finished, she pressed her head against his chest, "I want to be closer to you brother."

"Please…" Kaneki swallowed hard. The girl kissed him out of the blue, doesn't she know Touka likes him too? Or maybe she does?

"Don't call me that. I'm not your brother and girls don't usually try to kiss them." He was scolding her but he didn't sound too mad. He tried diverting his eyes from her but she moved her hands to his jaw, caressing it softly. Kaneki removes from her embrace and turns heels, "Go back to the Anteiku, they'll take care of you." Before he could step, a tiny tug is felt at his shirt, "No…" Hinami's face starts tearing up, "I'm not losing you again. No one tells me anything, all I hear is that you're okay but now that I see you…you're not. You're hurt, broken…"

"Hinami…" Kaneki turns back to her, sighing, "I'm not doing this for myself. I'm doing it for everyone. The only reason the world is like this, where ghouls are fighting ghouls and we're straying away from the balance is because of me." He places his hand on top of her head and pats it softly, "It's better off that I don't exist. The war will end, the balance will be restored and you can continue your life-"

If you give up now then you can actually live a normal life. If you continue going after him, you'll be wasting your time. Unless….

"Are you stupid or something?" Hinami cuts him off. Kaneki felt a chill run up his spine, never in his life would he think she'll say something like that.

You change.

"Eh?! Hinami…?" Kaneki took a step back once more, but for the benefit of protecting himself. There was a new aura escaping her skin, a twisted, evil smile spreading on her once innocent face. Kaneki quickly turns around to make a run for it but Hinami takes advantage of his prediction. Kaneki is stronger than her but he didn't realize that she grew up to be a capable ghoul. They still keep her out of the battlefield but the element of surprise was always up her sleeve. Kaneki's eyes widen as Hanabi gazes at him with a manipulative, lustful intent.

"What the hell did you do with Hinami you monster!"

A small dart hits the side of his neck and Kaneki started to feel dizzy. He could barely keep standing as his vision fades, Hinami standing above him, as he crumples to the floor, "I wondered what it'll take to take down the one eye monster. I guess you're not too strong after all, no matter, you're finally mine big brother, all…mine…"

Hinami grabs him by the hand, attempting to drag him out of here until the dart plops onto the ground. It catches her attention, her eyes swayed for a moment and because of this, she stayed alive. A long, red string of rope slices the air thin, as the veins on his neck pop unnaturally large. Hinami shudders at the sound of his body being forced to stand up. The crackling of his bones serving a new master. It was like a puppet, some angles a normal human body shouldn't move but his forcefully did, dislocating shoulders, her other body joints to make it possible. A small dot appears on Kaneki's face, quickly spreading into a mask that blinded him, a red emblem showing color right in the middle of his forehead.

"R-Run!" Kaneki warned, barely speaking with even his voice sounding unworldly. The thin of line, his blood, vastly grew into a large tail, spreading into threes until connecting all of them like a spinal cord. The tail launches quickly as Hinami follows suit, trying to dodge but the tail was too fast. It grazes the side of her gut, nipping away a part of his skin. She struggles on the floor, crawling, but Kaneki assumes the same position only crawling faster like a centipede.

It didn't take long until Hinami fines herself pinned on the ground, Kaneki above her, breathing like a mad dog. The saliva dripping from her lips and to her face, some even finding it's way inside her mouth. The wicked smile produced a sense of hunger, and Kaneki brought his mouth to penetrate her features. At the split second, Hinami presses against his lips, his mouth opens as they exchange spit, "I love you. I love you. I love you." She said sickly.

All of her emotions that she kept hidden from everyone, ever since the day Kaneki saved her life. It poured out of her soul, her deepest, dirtiest secretes revealing itself for the first time, "Devour me! Eat me! Make me one with you!" she demanded, as their tongues tangled with each other, "Make me yours! Make love to me! Take away my innocence. Strip me of my clothes." The confused beast stood there, motionless.

The beast stood up as Hinami finds herself in deep euphoria, "Don't stop." She reaches, gracing softly against her thighs, "Love me."

It wasn't Kaneki. She's sure, it was another being. And for whatever reason she wanted it more. She loved Kaneki, but sexually, sensually, she wanted this beast. The beast is another form, another being, but at the same time it's Kaneki, revealing his skin for the first time. The beast turns his head, controlled, not mad, "It seems you found a way to snap me from my hunt."

Hinami sits up, trembling, excited, but also curious, "Your hunt?"

"I'm controlled just as much as Kaneki is, maybe even more. Kaneki is the sole user of this body and I am merely a creation of his doubts, accepting the ghoul side of him probably weakened the hunt, but I never was able to talk like this. Away from the hunt, the need to kill, your abilities to snap me from it…is useful." The beast explained. Hinami gathers herself together but her mind was focused to his waist, a little lower then that too, "Then you owe me." She stands up, leans her chest to his back. The centipede is a terrifying monster that torments all but for some reason, the lust from this girl broke the chain

"I owe you nothing."

"How did it feel?" Hinami asks, licking the side of his neck like some delectable piece of meat. The beast did not speak, "Being trapped in a dark space, not being able to say your mind. You must be lonely. You need me if you want to break from the hunt right? Then do what I say, Kaneki."

The beast hesitated, "I remember you." He changed the subject, "You're the young girl we saved from the doves. What happened. How did you turn so twisted."

"Years…and years of wanting to express love to a companion, can make anyone a little desperate." She laughs, "All I needed was a small advice from a friend and now it's more clear then anything. I want you. More than you think."

"Then you are like me."

"Wrong." The girl snapped, grabbing his hand and leading him to dark side of the alley, staring seductively into his eyes, "I was always like this." Her torn blouse showing more than it ought to. The beast thought long and hard about it and nodded, "As long as you promise to stay close. I am willing to give you us as a reward. Be gentle." The mask disappeared and Kaneki came back to view, barely breathing. He collapsed unto the floor, awake, but paralyzed. The recent change and the knock out medicine made it difficult to do anything, "Hinami!" He calls out, using the little energy he has, "Help me. Help me get up. There's a bag near the corner that has medicine. Bring me to it."

Hinami puts her pointer finger gently on his lips, everything about her made it look like she was the same Hinami, except…her eyes, "Hush older brother. It'll be wrong of me to break a promise." A small shrill of laughter left her lips as she drags Kaneki to the side to satisfy her needs.

She removes the little clothing he had because of his transformation and Kaneki focused at her, small moments where his breathing would crack. Her head found its way to his leg, slowly licking up until she got a good look of what she's going to devour, "Don't act like you're not excited as I am." She teases. Kaneki didn't say anything, he couldn't even if he wanted to. His lust took up all the energy he could must up, and every time he would try to summon more it would be eaten, by the girl sitting on top of him. She unhook her dress, until the whiteness of her undergarments appeared through the dark. She slip those off as well, fully nude, she bends over to lock faces with Kaneki.

"You're forever mine now!" the girl, hungry for sex, whispers loudly at the side of his ear before giving the last bit of dignity she had left.

However, standing at the end of the alleyway with her presence nearly being nonexistent was a close friend to the both of them.
