They promised one another,
that they'd be together,
They swore to each other,
that they were forever.
Then he nobles came,
and struck up a deal,
They wanted him to be king,
What a mighty ordeal.
He chose the crown,
and a new wife,
over his vow,
And the love of his life.
She was full of hurt,
but ignored the pain,
She let the storm come,
without any rain.
They would be torn apart,
from the inside,
They would come to learn,
The lightning girl does not abide.
*Hey guys, this is my first poem on Red Queen, so I hope y'all liked it. If you haven't already guessed, it's based off of the epilogue of King's Cage. Ahhh! That absolutely tore me apart.
