Do a Google image search on the words 'frozen teardrop'. At about the third row, you'll see the inspiration for this oneshot. I know it's Odin and Heero, but I think he'd carry on the legacy. ;P
That Kind of Dad
Heero sat across the table from a belligerent son who refused to finish his plate. It had been a stale mate for the past several minutes, with little to no movement on the younger one's part. Finally fed up with the boy's antics, Heero reached to his side and, without a word, grabbed the gun from his holster. Barely moving his news paper out of the way, he reached a hand over and laid the firearm flat on the table. This invoked a reaction. Within a short frame of time the plate was cleaned. "Done," he said.
"You get six," Heero said and watched the kid pick up his gun. "Call your shots," he warned.
"I know," he said, annoyed he had to hear it.
"Each one you miss, I take a shot away."
The kid huffed, "You're such a hard ass."
"Hey," he snapped, "Don't forget your gloves. I don't want to hear your mother complain about the smell of gun powder...and watch your mouth."
I think Heero would make 'Father of the Year', totally. ;P
