Glass Tendency

When Harry and Ron looked for Hermione to warn her of the trolls, they weren't expecting to fight said troll nor almost getting killed by it.

No spells seemed to be working to the troll and they were still in the corner of the girl's bathroom. There was still no sight of teachers at all and maybe, that was the last drew for Harry.

Knowing the day as his most hated occasion, having to go to a girl's bathroom, trying to face a troll, getting their magic ineffective, being face in danger at age 11, waiting for teachers to come and save them and realizing that there were still no teachers in sight would surely make anyone snap.

And it so happened that when one Harry Potter snapped, it caused disaster in more ways than one.

Hidden bright jade eyes in plain glasses sparked with anger and a hateful sneer came to the boy's mouth. "I really didn't want to do this," he muttered darkly to himself as his small hands came in contact with his eyeglasses. "But this is really getting annoying."

He ignored the warning calls of his fellow housemates and removed his eyeglasses. His now unveiled enchanting eyes showed power and dignity in them.

"Let's dance, Mr. Troll," Harry smiled all too widely and jumped.

.oxo.

When Snape and Minerva finally arrived at the destination of the three Gryffindor, they weren't expecting the Boy-Who-Lived to be fighting a troll by himself using hand-to-hand combat and enjoying it.

By how awe-stuck and jaws dropped the other students were, it supposed Ron and Hermione didn't expect it as well.

"Hmph," they heard the soft whisper of the raven head and watched with still widening eyes when the boy smacked a troll thrice larger than him hard into the ground. He snarled sarcastically, "Are you surrendering now, Mr. Troll?"

Shaking visibly in fear, the troll nodded and bowed his head in submissive. Harry let out a nice hum and stepped away from the troll. His glance met the two professors and he frowned.

"You two are late."

Said two exchanged looks and stared down at the small boy, who didn't wear his glasses. "What happened here, Potter?" Snape asked the boy as Minerva went to the two students to see if they were okay.

"Nothing much," he put his eyeglasses on and the atmosphere around him changed into a tense one. "I just snapped and removed my glasses then fought the troll."

In those blank stares that he received, Harry sighed.

"I have a glass tendency. Whenever I remove my glasses, I become really powerful and easy to get angry. Usually, I don't remove my glasses since it's just a pain but I really don't want to be killed by a troll."

Snape looked as if he was thinking that the young Potter was lying. "I've never heard of that," he sneered and looked shocked when the student just shrugged.

"Me, either but that's the only explanation I got," he yawned and glanced at both professors. "So is that all? I get really tired whenever I removed my glasses so if you excuse me, I'm going to sleep."

Harry went to sleep after getting points deducted and then, wondered if his secret would be expose since four people knew about it. Not that he cared or anything, it would just give him more attention and he hated that.

Well, all he could do was wait for the next day.

A/N: Augh, why can't I write something good lately? Haa, anyway, the "glass tendency" thing...I got it from a manga "Megane Apato" and since Harry wore glasses in the beginning, I thought, "what the heck?" and just write this. Hope some of you guys enjoyed it!
