(Hey so I thought for my first story I'd try Death note)
At a little orphanage called Wammy's, there was a girl there, she was smaller than all the other kids but shared the same age, her name was Tsumori Takari. She had long blond hair and bright blue eyes, so bright that they looked grey. No one at wammy's associated with her, except two boys named Mello and Near, and of course L Lawliet. She was the smartest girl in the orphanage, and L Lawliet knew this even though she wouldn't talk to anyone. She used Sign Language with most people and no one heard her voice.
"Hey, how come you never talk to anyone"? asked Near, who was pretty shy himself. She signed: I don't like speaking, He nodded, Mello sat in the corner of the room eating chocolate, he eyed Near and Mori and had an immediate jealousy, He loved her. "Mori, let's talk in private I have something to tell you about brother L", said Mello, She stood up picking up her jar of Linking Logs and fallowed Mello. Mello led her down a narrow white hallway, the paint in the hallway was peeling and chipping revealing and older white paint underneath, the hallway smelled of an old house and pictures were slanted on the walls. Mello stopped Mid-hallway and lifted up a picture, dust fell and with it a key, he put the key in a normal hole in the wall and you heard a click as the small door became visible. She signed: Where are you taking me mello? he spoke silently, "Lawliet's secret room". He opened the door and there where stairs that spiraled down to another small door, the stairway smelled like mildew and cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling making Mori get a little more curious. "Ladies first", said mello. She made the first step in the spiral stairway, Mello fallowing her shut the door behind him as they walked slowly down the creaking wooden spiral stairs, water dripping from pipes above them. "Near and I have been the only ones down here, no one even knows this secret room ever existed, beside brother L". Mello said. Mori reached the last step nervously, she signed: Why does brother l have this secret room? Mello looked at her, "Detective stuff". She nodded, fallowing Mello in to the room where there stood a computer with the L logo on the monitor, in a high pitched voice the computer said, "Mori I am constructing a headquarters to be used for the Kira investigation, Can you help me" She looked around and spoke, "What type of building do you want me to blue print"? The computer again spoke, "I want a sort of cross of an apartment, and a head office for the Kira investigation, I want one floor an apartment, Surveillance cameras hidden in each wall, and in the corners, also I want infrared cameras as well, do you fallow me?" Mori once again spoke "yes brother L I fallow you anything else"? "I want it to be a tower". She nodded. "I'll try my best". The computer shut down, and she pulled out a piece of blue print paper and a pencil, Mello eyed her watching as drew the entire tower from the windowed exterior to the high security interior, she drew in complete detail everything L wanted, Tsumori Takari, drew perfectly a new atmosphere. Mello watched in awe, and thought in his mind, "how can I ever tell this girl how I feel"?
