As soon as I knocked on Tanya's front door, I knew it was a mistake. I knew that tonight would be very bad, but what I didn't know was how bad this night would truly turn out to be. Instead of doing the smart thing, turning around and going home, I stayed. Yes I know what you're probably thinking right now, if she knows it'll be bad then why is she is going in the first place. Long story short, I'm an idiot.

One hour later

Before I knew it I was running out of Tanya's house with tears clouding my eyes. I refuse to let that skank face see me cry. No matter what it takes, I would hold in those stupid traitor tears. As soon as I got outside, I made a run for it. I cursed myself under my breath for not taking my car, but I knew where to go and who to call.

As I started running to the nearest Red Mango I couldn't help but think how I let get this out of control and kept getting myself in stupid situations.

When I finally reached Red Mango I sat down in the nearest booth I could find. I immediately pulled out my cell and called my big brother, Emmet. He was the best big brother. He was a force not to be messed with especially when it came to his family. I knew he would always be there for me and would always protect me.

He picked up on the second ring. "Belly-Bells! What's up baby sis?" he said in his usual Emmett voice, which was unusually loud.

I sniffled. "Em, can you come and get me please?"

Probably hearing the distress in my voice he answered immediately in a softer tone, "Sure, no problem. But wait Bells where are you?"

Not being able to hold it in anymore I let out a sob. A few tears started to escape but I did my best to keep the rest in. "The Red Mango… by Tanya's house… I'll explain… everything… later but please just… come and get me. I need you…" I replied in a shaky voice.

Along with the sounds of his Jeep I heard him murmur something incoherent. It sounded like, "What the hell is she doing there."

"What was that?"

"Nothing Belly-Bear. Stay where you are. I will be there in five minutes. Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he started shooting questions off.

"Emmett please'

The line went dead. I dropped my cell in my pocket and put my head on the table.

Five Minutes Later

Time passed. How much? That I couldn't tell you. There was only one thing going on in my head. How did I let it get this far and just how bad this whole thing really is. If you told me five years ago this is where I would end up, I wouldn't believe you. The next thing I knew Emmett was barging through the doors of red Mango, gaining a few odd looks. As soon as he spotted me he ran over to me and scooped me up in his arms. I felt myself lose all my restraint and just let it all out. When the worst had passed and he felt me strong enough to leave, he stood up. He started carrying me to the Jeep but this time I didn't fight back, like I normally do. Emmett was speeding from the parking lot and yelling into his phone. That was the last thing I remembered before I fell into a fitful sleep.
