Yes. I'm continuing Elemental Legends and Flowing indefinitely. I just Had to do this oneshot. And, regardless of anything I've ever said before, Flames Are Not Welcome!!
Antauri's POV
It's a wonder about Chiro. How he's come so far, lost so much, gained such great things and bad ones, and yet he's still here. I admit I underestimated the boy.
He's fought Mandarin many times, and won. He's fought Skeleton King numerous times, and won. He's forgiven us for our secrets. He's gone through childish fights with us. He's fought more monsters than I can say, and won. He fared through all of the dangers and life-threatening situations no average boy could have.
He's lost me. He's almost lost Nova. He's almost lost Jinmay. He's almost lost Sprx and Gibson and Otto. But most of all, he's almost lost himself.
I do not understand why he just hasn't quit on us yet. I would be a bit surprised if he did, but I would not blame him at all. I am very surprised he has not even broken. There was that one time he said he failed...But I do not count that as a break-down or quit. That wasn't even a fail. That was merely him worried for my own well-being.
I don't understand after all he's been through, he is still so sweet. He rarely ever has, or still has, cared selflessly about himself. He looks after his team before his own well-being. Which is what a leader should do. Butit worries me sometimes how little he cares for his own life.
It also disturbs me that he is so secretive. Of course he has had a few secrets, but nothing major. Well, nothing major to be revealed yet. I always wonder about what he's thinking. In the time of battle, when a teammate is about to go down, when he is in serious trouble, everything.
I've seen him cry. I've seen him hurt so much. I've even seen him angry, so angry it almost scared me. I've seen him so mad, it looked as if he'd do anything to get back at what made him angry or hurt him. I recognize that anger in his blazing eyes. It is the same anger, fury, hatred I've seen in Mandarin.
I do not believe that Chiro would ever end up like Mandarin. None of the members do. We trust him. Chiro's had many chances to switch sides, but he turned them all down. But what worries me is...He's debated.
I remember when he first met Mandarin. Mandarin gave all of us to Skeleton King, but he kept and trained Chiro. He tried to convert Chiro to his way of thinking. And even I have to admit, Mandarin had a point. Chiro has weaknesses, and I knew Mandarin would do all he could to find them.
I remember Chiro wasn't sure of Mandarin's way of thinking. I could sense the faintest hint of agreement.
If Chiro ever went to the dark side...I do not know what I'd—what we'd—do. We trust him and have faith in him. Besides...We all know Chiro too much to know that he would never switch sides. Not on us.
But we trusted Mandarin. We believed in Mandarin. We never would have thought that Mandarin would have gone bad on us. He was our leader, our friend, our brother. As is Chiro.
I have noticed the more battles we go through...Chiro changes. His personality has changed immensely these last few years with us. Some for better, some for worse.
But Chiro would never go evil on us...Would he?
Ha-ha! Well, there you go. If Antauri has second thoughts about whether Chiro can be trusted, then can he? This was just something I had an urge to do. It was my inner Otto forcing me to do it!
Anyway, read and review!!
