I was lying against his chest. He was in pain and I saw it was hard for him to breathe.

He was dying. The pound of blood around him grew little by little. His wounds were bleeding.

His chest slowly moved up and down. His eyes were closed and I knew he didn't have much time left.

"Sango… go and find the others… before that demon comes back." He said faintly.

"I won't leave you!" I cried out. "Not after what you did! This is my entire fault!"

He had saved me back then. Saved me from that demon, that awful thing…

I was shocked. "Miroku no!" I yelled. Tears ran down my cheeks. "Don't do this!"

He was gone. I remembered his words, stood up and wiped away my tears.

There were only my heartbeats. I started to walk away, whispering: "Goodbye Miroku…"
