Had to write this because I just read a Spamano fic where Spain died, and I'm like, noo! So this is to make me feel better, I know, I'm so selfish.

Also, Romano won't be swearing because, unfortunately, my mother put me on Swear patrol, so yeah, sorry about that part!

Why am I so awkward!?

Romano shakes his head as he walks down the street. He had just admitted his love to Spain (read: attempted while cursing).

"Roma!" Spain struggles to catch up to him, Romano slows his pace slightly to allow the Spanish idiot to catch up.

When Spain finally does Romano turns around.

"Yes?" He asks impatiently. Spain smiles that goofy smile of his.

"So... what were you trying to say earlier?" He asks me, I sigh.

"I was trying to say... uh... that... eh..." He trails off.

Why would I think I could do this!? Ugh, Romano you idiota!

Spain blinks.

"You... what?"

"ThatIloveyou." Romano replies quickly, blushing. Spain stares.

"Come again?" Romano facepalms.

"IloveyouSpanishidoita." He once again responds as fast as he can. Spain sighs.

"Roma~ slow down." He tells the other male. Romano blinks.

Can I even do that!? Romano wonders.

"I said, 'I..." Romano takes a deep breath. "Love you."

Spain's eyes widen.

Oh, great, I knew this was a bad idea!

Romano feels arms wrap around him.

"Roma! This is great!" Spain exclaims. "I love you too~!"

Now it's Romano's turn to widen his eyes.

"W-what!?" He stutters, Spain nuzzles him.

"I love you too!"

Romano regains his composure. He takes a deep breath.

"First of all, never do that again, and second of all, thank god!" Romano glares at Spain. "I thought I confessed my stupid feelings for nothing! Don't expect me to show anything."

Spain untangle himself from his lover.

"Trust me, I expect nothing." He smiles warmly. "Want some pizza?"

Romano looks at him like he's crazy.

"Are you kidding!? Of course I do! Now let's go!"

Romano drags Spain back home.

"I'm cooking."
