The Origin of the Chaos Emeralds
Once upon a time, there was a man named Knuckles the 1st ,
He guarded the Master Emerald from the evil scientist Dr. Gerald Robonik
But one day as Knuckles was sleeping,
Dr. Robotnik came and destroyed seven pieces of the Master Emerald
The seven pieces of the Master Emerald fell into 7 different places.
One part fell into a forest.
One part fell into the ocean.
One part was stuck in the sky.
One part was thrown in lava.
One was hit directly by the Sun's Rays.
One was hidden inside the moldy parts of the lands.
And the last one was infused inside a cloud.
These pieces of the Master Emerald were granted unlimited power.
Strong if they are apart, but invincible when together.
If one person could bring all 7 pieces together, they will be granted eternal power
But will drain the life energy of the user.
After one man, Sonic the Hedgehog's father, known as Jet, collected all these pieces
And he was granted eternal power to rid the world of all evil.
But, as the pieces drained Jet's energy, Jet had almost died, and said with his dying breath,
"These pieces of the Master Emerald will bring nothing but chaos,
"these are truly the Chaos Emeralds!"
After these words, Jet died, and the name 'Chaos Emerald' stuck to these precious gems,
Even after millions of habitants of Mobius witnessed Jet's death and why,
They still pondered about, looking for the Chaos Emeralds.
The only person who has ever collected them all, 16 years after Jet's death...
Was Sonic, the world's fastest hedgehog.
He used the Chaos Emeralds to achieve his Super Form, and defeated the evil
Who kept coming back,
And Sonic restored back into his normal self - before it had killed him
From this day on, Jet has been known as, "The Master of the Chaos Emeralds".
And Sonic has been known as, "The Survivor of the Chaos Emeralds".
But it has said, that even the Emeralds being granted eternal power,
There is one theory that is correct :
The Master Emerald is still the most powerful force in the galaxy - and it belongs to Mobius.
