"Ash you idiot. Why did you let my piplup evolve!" said Dawn.

"I'm sorry Dawn I fell asleep," Ash said, trying to defend himself.

This would affect Dawn's competition status and strategy.

"I think I should move out," said Ash.

Ash had recently moved in with Dawn, a sign they were taking the next step. But with the constant arguments, the move did not go as expected.

"You know what, go! You leave your food and clothes everywhere. It's like I'm living with a pig," said Dawn.

"So we're on a break," Ash mumbled.

"What do you think," replied Dawn.

So, Ash left Dawn's house and returned to his own.

5 weeks later

Ash and Dawn hadn't contacted each other for 5 weeks.

Dawn couldn't stand it anymore. She missed him bad.

12 o clock. After tossing and turning, she decided to get dressed in her most attractive clothes. She grabbed a cold champagne bottle, and headed to Ash's house. She planned to make Ash move back in with her through makeup sex.

She had a key. She entered Ash's house and went to his room. He was sleeping. Seeing Ash asleep subsided her desire for sex, and evoked warm childhood memories. The whole world felt right, when Ash Ketchum was gently asleep.

She softly slipped into the bed beside Ash ,and cozied beside him.

The sun rose. And Dawn was the first to wake, to see soft pools of sunlight upon Ash's cheek. She smiled at Ash's rarefied face.

"Serena," murmured Ash, still half asleep.

Serena? Thought Dawn.

That's when Dawn heard another person yawning and moving. Someone was sleeping on the other side of Ash!

Ash woke! "Dawn!? What are you doing here?"

Another girl rose up, on the other side of the bed. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes. "Um, Ash what's going on here?" Serena said, rubbing her eyes.

Ash lowered the blanket to reveal Serena's hand on Ash's chest. A part of dawn wanted to shake Serena, and threaten her to never touch or even see Ash again.

"Ash! I came here to apologise, but I find you like this?" cried Dawn.

"Ash I thought you said you and your girlfriend were on a break?" said Serena.

"That's exactly it. We are on a break, so Dawn just leave. You might be ready to forgive me, but I'm not ready to forgive you," said Ash.

To see and feel heaven, and then be rudely denied entry was how Dawn felt. She turned around and left.

"What a drama queen," said Serena.

Dawn heard this which made her run, she could feel the words intensely bug her heart. She ran outside, into the beautiful morning. It was sunny, the gentle sunny , where it doesn't heat up or irritate the skin. Blue skies and pleasant bird tunes, the sharp contrast reminded Dawn she was nothing. She ran down the streets, trying to run away from the lovely day, which so anguished her.

She eventually got home, and cried and cried until she fell asleep. When she woke it was raining and storming. Dawn felt it appropriate to sit outside on the grass, and let the rain abuse her. Lightning flashed in the sky, but she couldn't be bothered. She didn't care if the lightning zapped her right on her face. Sitting on the damp grass, she again wept in despair.
