Her Tahoe started to die two miles away from the bar. "Shit!" She pulled to the side of the road. I felt tears on my cheeks, and she was looking at me. I turned my head, stared at the sidewalk.
"Sara, this is nothing, really." She was embarrassed. She wouldn't try to run on fumes so something had to be wrong. I faced her. How could I be stupid to think *his* eyes could ever replace the beautiful blue of hers?
She leaned over, pressing her lips against mine. Her tongue slid across my lower lip.
This was definitely something.
