It has been 6 years since Escaflowne. Hitomi is now 21 and Van is 22. Hitomi also has an older brother named Shingo. He is a samurai warrior.
Chapter 1: Hitomi is back.
Earth:
"No you can't go Shingo, I don't want to lose you too," Hitomi pleaded. Hitomi now has long hair that reaches mid back and is in ringlets of curls.
"I have to go Hitomi, they are killing our people. I have taken an oath to protect our way of life," Shingo replied calmly. "Let us hope this war will end before Earth is wiped out." " I promise I will come back for you," Shingo said fiercely.
"Please Shingo, we have already lost our parents, Yukari, and Amano are dead, too!" Hitomi tried to reason with him as he began to leave the house. 'How many more people that I love have to die?' Thought Hitomi. 'Oh Van, how I wish I was with you on Gaea. Please help me come to Gaea and Shingo, too.'
Gaea:
Van, Allen and company were at the Gaea World Peace Conference. Each representing or co representing their countries. Van has a faraway look in his eyes.
"Vansama, pay attention!" whispered Merle.
"Sorry, its just something is wrong. I can feel it. I just wish I knew what it was," Van whispered back.
Gaddes suddenly barged in and informed the council members that WWWIII has begun on the Mystic Moon, its destruction is inevitable.
"NO! HITOMI IS THERE!" yelled Van. "I have to go and get her."
"Van, you know that you can't possibly go to her. Why don't you wish she was here and that her loved ones were here, too," suggested Allen.
"He's right, your highness. You simply can not go. You are too important," Rama, his top advisor said.
"Lord Van, Fanelia still needs you. You have done a tremendous job rebuilding your country and you finally finished the rebuilding this past year. You can not desert your people now, they need you to govern them as their king," Millerna said quietly.
"I know, Princess Millerna. Thank you for reminding me," Van replied. He then closed his eyes and grabbed Hitomi's pendent. All his concentration was centered on bringing Hitomi and her loved ones to Gaea. The Pendent began to glow….
Earth:
Hitomi and Shingo are engulfed in a pillar of blue light. They begin to rise off the ground. 'Thank you, Van. I can't wait to see you' Hitomi thought to herself.
Gaea:
Van opened his eyes back up and gave a sigh of relief. " I think it worked," Van finally said.
Merle who had been staring out of the window the whole time, spotted the pillar of blue light land not to far away of the city's outskirts. "Look, Vansama! Hitomi is here and now you can be yourself again," Merle said excitedly.
Van and the others ran out of the palace and towards the spot where the light had been.
