"Ashlynn? Ashlynn!"
"What?" I turned from the t.v. to the irritated voice of my mother staring me down dissaprovingly. "Are you watching that stupid show again?" She grumbled
"Yes mom, i am watching that stupid show again, infact as we speak my brains are rotting out of my skull and leaking onto the floor" i replied sarcastically.
She gave me a death glare for a few minutes before breaking into a shit eating grin.
She walked up to me and ruffled my thick black hair, successfully tangling it ... again. "How did I end up with such a smartmouth for a daughter?"
I matched her grin with my own smirk " I dont know, ask yourself."
She rolled her eyes playfully "Ok i think its time to turn off South Park and finish packing, besides you can't be comfortable sitting on that." She gestured to the cardboard box i was meticulously balancing myself on. I nodded and shut my favorite show off.
I absolutely love South Park, it was something that, as funny as it seemed, was almost sacred to me. And my mom respected that (thank God). Thanks to her i have been supplied with almost every season of South Park, some pajamas, and other random items. I will admit sometimes i do get a little carried away.
"Like right now." I thought to myself ruefully as i climbed the stairs of our former house. Mom and i both wanted to get out of the drama our little town in Montana provided. So mom and i packed all of our stuff and today we leave our quaint two story, ranch style house.
I entered what used to be my room and scouted out the last box. I looked around, not really sure if i would miss this or I was about to leave, my eyes flickered to the mirror across the room, i set my box down and wandered closer to study myself closer.
Everything was the same, long, dark, messy hair, same too long bangs partially covering the same dark green eyes, lined slightly with smudged black liner, average skinny body with skinny jeans, black converse, and grey shirt, finished off with a stoic expression. I sighed and picked my box back up, some things truly never change.
